• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

West Brom have been docked 2 points for a breach of PSR rules for exceeding losses of
39 million over 3 seasons .

Our loss of £21-6 million for last season leaves us vunerable going forward with a sale of Vp more likely to offset losses for this season .
Hope i am wrong .

That puts them in the same boat as Charlton, an outside chance of being relegated if they lose their last two games.
Very unlikely with the form they’re in and the fact they’ve got their Sheffield Wednesday 3point voucher to play on the last day of the season.

Charlton on the other hand 🤞

So West Brom don't get a 3 point deduction which would put them in relegation jeopardy. 2 points will have no impact in the relegation scrap unless Oxford win their last 2 and Baggies lose thier last 2 with a 7 goal swing.

Highly convenient non punished ruling.

Indeed the punishment is entirely a nothing burger
Whats worse is that this sets a clear precedent that if you only just barely pass the limits then the punishment in 99% of cases will have zero material impact on your season

It should have been 6 points so it would have made things more interesting. 2 points is just downright boring. Boooooooo!!!

West Brom have appointed James Morrison as their new boss on a 2 year contract .
From the outside looks a good appointment
Knows the club inside out , did well to keep them out ,

Completely scarred from last season to be honest. Any interim appointment now seems a risk. We won 5 in a row and it still turned out to be the wrong appointment. Wouldn’t be surprised if it went that way with West Brom.
