• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

A program I would never miss. Mainly because that's all you had.
Last 20yrs I've hardly watched it.
Match of the day I never watch since the Swans got relegated from the Prem.

We might have to start a helpline on the 1st of June to help all the fossils on here who won’t have anywhere to chat their normal shit.

“Hello you’re through to the fossil helpline, what’s your issue?”

“Hi, women on TV talking about sport, who is doing washing?”

Exactly. Nothing to do with box ticking, woke, or whatever other nonsense people come up with. We watched it and MOTD years ago because that was all we had. Now we can consume football 24/7, so why would we tune into scheduled shows like Football Focus?

My 13 year old is loving the Premier League Archive for example. He can watch full matches from over 12,000 games over the years, season highlights, etc...

Will be sorry to see Focus finish , always part of my Saturday routine .
Focus lunch then off to see the Swans play at home .
Catch up with Premier fixtures , team news
features including interviews with players .

Hasn’t been part of my routine for at least 25 years.

With clubs doing so much of their own magazine style media I’m surprised it’s lasted this long tbf.

TV seems to saturated with these type of programmes.

I tend watch from kick off and turn it off at the final whistle

Just watched a couple minutes of Wayne Rooney trying to interview Bruno Fernandes.

Saying it was painful is being kind. Give me Kelly Cates any day of the week.
