• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We randomly chose US crime drama 'Person of Interest' a week ago and have rapidly become hooked on it. It's superficial but entertaining and reasonably well acted, We were shocked to discover it actually ran between 2011 and 2016, it has the feel of a much more recent series.

I wish we could watch repeats of the superb French crime drama 'Spiral' which was great first time around, but it doesn't seem to be on offer anywhere.
Haven't watched it since it aired but remember finding it great fun. Time for a rewatch maybe, especially given all this AI lark going on.

So were 1883 and 1923.
Landman was great though.
I didn't mimd 1883 and 1923

Landman was excellent, thought Billy Bob Thornton carried the show.

The casting for US Marshalls seems to be off and there doesn't really seem to have that much of a storyline.

Have you seen Mayor Of Kingstown?

I haven’t. Any good?

My synopsis of 1883..

Some people moved across the US. Some people died and they left a piano in the middle of nowhere.

Your synopsis is pretty accurate 😂

I highly recommend giving Mayor of Kingstown a watch.

Just binge watched Chernobyl. Have seen it before but in fits and starts, so needed to watch it again to fully piece it together. Some stellar acting performances from the cast.

Ah bollocks, it’s a repeat is it? I recorded it to watch but thought it was a new production.

I’m not aware if there is a spin-off or a second series, if there is then I’ll be all over it. What I have just watched is the original from 2019.

Seen some good writeups about Matthew Rhys' new series on Apple, Widow's Bay, although I haven't started watching it myself yet. One review said it was a cross between Mare of Easttown and Schitt's Creek, which is not a comparison I thought I'd ever see.

Anyone watched the true crime 3 parter "Should I marry a murderer "? A good watch but you might mutter "You stupid woman" a few times. More than a few times if me and the wife are anything to go by.

Watched the first two episodes last night, it’s decent enough but the woman does t half prattle on.

The Cage with Sheridan Smith on a binge watch , one more episode to go .

Sometimes The Beeb can get it right with brilliant television .
