Liverpool casino thriller. Missus says it’s good so I’ll give it a watch. Sheridan Smith’s acting always watchable

It's by the same guy who did The Responder which is well worth a watch on the BBC if you haven't seen it

Just got through the last episode of The Cage and with no spoiler alerts it does conclude on another series maybe at a later date .
As said earlier Sheridan Smith in her role is outstanding , likewise her male buttie involved .
Really gritty stuff on occasions for the viewer .
The Responder as mentioned might be my next tele binge fest now .

Silence of the Lambs just been on tele , 40 + years later and it still is a hid behind the sofa moment on the ending in particular , a rightly Oscar winner for the cast and filming .
Sir Anthony Hopkins did overlook me on a visit to Verdis some years ago though .
He had a private party booked which was fair enough and I was not going to intrude his family guests or even his minders .
No CGI , gimmicks or over the top nonsense , but what an awesome film .
