Who cares about the final third? As long as I get to see Ronald and Franco throwing themselves to the floor and crosses flying into the stands - I am as happy as a pig in shit

BOTH good signings IMO. On a complete tangent, I have thought for many years that officiating is stacked against us. One of the easiest ways to influence a game we saw yesterday. How often do our ball winner midfielders or defenders get an early yellow card? Particularly when similar or worse...

Galbraith was terrible today? He is a very good right back who basically created both of our XG goals today - the pass to Cullen that was squared to Vip was fabulous - and the chance he created for Cullen even more perfect. All from right back. There are many problems in this team and squad -...

You pick players in positions where they can deliver tangible outputs. New and young players - have a lot more rope. So Innoussa and Widdel - I am not sure that we have seen their potential - some promise but also some huge room for improvement. I think with Zeidanne it is a confidence thing -...

    The Ashes 2025/26

Phuqing disgrace - bowling properly only after the series is lost. This lot should stick to playing friendlies - no place for weak men my arse!

    NFL 2025

Lions are done - thw offensive line has gone from the best in football to aconplete shambles. So much work to do in the off season it isnt even funny!! At least Snoop and Martha were top quality at half time👍

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

Holy crap - we can justify anything on here. Trust me - if that had been an assault by a gog on a Swans player we would have been baying for red - and debating for days how the ref is a shit house for showing a yellow

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

If you don't think he is top class - ask the Germans who watched him give a collection of mega stars a proper run around for Northern Ireland recently!

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

I hate to say this - but the way Ronald conducts himself on the pitch with all the theatrical flopping around - i would kick him in the head too- and if it followed through and clipped Franco that would be killing two birds. We want grown arse men playing for our club!

IMO 3/4 of referees would have red carded Galbraith for his assault on O’Brien. I thought he was very fortunate to get a yellow!

A goal scorer at that age is expensive- and he has years on his contract 6 million is too low- 10 is more realistic with Casey thrown in!

    Inoussa

Particularly as he has far from played in every game. I can't be arsed to do the research - but I reckon he has started 5 games less than other strikers who are first choice week in and week out. Expecting strikers to finish every chance is unrealistic - but I am willing to bet that his goals...

Vitor Matos ahead of Wrexham | Press Conference

Parking for the moment that the least inspiring thing anyone on the planet can do is be grindingly and persistently negative.. Matos gave a very insightful analysis into how Wrexham try and attack you, and appeared to have a grasp of how their approach has differed from last season - so there is...

    Josh Key

Said it before the only way out is hard work and a return to basics. You are a RB and your responsibility is 100% to defend the right side. I feel like Key hast oo much going on in hiis head re getting forward and covering other positions. He constantly needs to know where the opposition threat...

    Inoussa

See my post above - absolutely Ronald is getting blamed for his own performances. If he was from Brynamman rather than Brazil he would have been benched long ago.

    Inoussa

I know I date myself - but the likes of Clough and Ferguson picked defenders who could defend and attackers who attacked. A famous left back who liked to bomb forward was told by Clough "if you want to play that way you will battle for the 11 jersey - you won't ever be wearing the 3". Fast...

Things that annoy you more than they should

OK I live in Canada now and am 13 years removed. However, did the law change? If ANY shop sells you a defective item - they have to take it back regardless of whether you have a receipt. If goods are "not fit for purpose" surely there are still consumer protections?

I still havent cooled down on the Josh Key performance- but surely when you are struggling you go back to basics Comes on as a right back abainst a dangerous left winger. Priority 1,2 and 3 is staying tight and containing the threat First involvement today - not only was he not tight to his...
