6 Clubs in the Play-Offs from Next Season 2026/27

Modern days players are significantly fitter, faster, tactically better organised and technically sharper. The speed, pressing and movement of the 2010 team would overwhelm the team from 1982 over a full 90 minutes.

Exactly, he played to their strengths which is the complete opposite to the likes of Russell Martin.

A lot of that team which took us up took to the premier league like a swan to water.

Haha, suppose that's a good sig for Welsh rugby. They've been driving people to drink of late 🤣 I watched both Liverpool and Wolves games this week and the performances were like night and day for Liverpool.

We're ever going to progress and challenge for promotion by selling players as soon as they've shown a glimpse of promise.

Scrapping automatic promotion for the second placed team is a dead rubber for me. The national league adopt that approach and seems extremely unfair. Take this season as an example where you have York in second place on 83 points and Southend in seventh place 53 points. They're also 13 points...

Question is why do we want or need to sell him? People talk about this "model", not sure the new owners share that belief. Top scorer in the division whilst playing for a team which has struggled to create chances for most of the season. What more does the lad need to do?

Got to say this is a odd thread. People talking about selling our best players.

A natural finisher will always score goals. I feel a lot of his are natural type of goals that come instinctively to him. Personally feel selling him in the summer would be a mistake.

    6 Nations 2026

Tonight's loss was on me. As soon as I turned the game on (as the Wolves, Liverpool game was ending) we had a player yellow carded and Ireland score a try.

I find a lot of his stuff is exactly the same. Just like watching lock stock and two smoking barrels over and over, just with different characters.
