Yeah, nice finish. Franco commits and gets turned, but not really his fault. A bit too much space for them, but it’s a bit special from there. 8/10 that curls wide (like Tymon’s did at the start of the half)

Not the best choice against Stoke though. Not easy to differentiate the teams when they’re in the sun.

We’ve a long history of outsiders with a rudimentary understanding of the language making a great contribution to our club. Andy Robinson and Trunds for a start 🤣

Most teams in this division are well organised and Pompey were no exception. They seemed better off the ball than Oxford were and effectively closed off our passing lines. Of course then it was down to us to find a way around/through them and we didn’t move the ball quickly enough to be a threat...

Although also a good idea to play him in an otherwise settled side and against (slightly) weaker opponents. It’s all down to him to impress Vitor now.

    Ridiculous situation 🤣

FA Cup Third Round - Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion

We’re on a bit of a roll. It feels like we’ve had far more than our fair share of home cup draws for a few years

It also limits the pool of international players were able to recruit as well. It’s far less likely we’ll be able to unearth unsung talent. Players like Rangel probably would reach the points threshold for a visa these days. But it’s not all bad. At least we can admire our blue passports while...

Ha, we haven’t got that many back ups have we?! Fighting spirit was good today. There was a definite upping of desire and determination. I had a big upping when Tymon’s volley went in, but maybe that’s too much information 🤣

It was forced on us today, but it solved the problem of how to play Galbraith, Franco and Widell in the same team. Widell was excellently promising: he allowed us to play through the middle as an option in a way we never can with Cullen. Didn’t create, but there’s a lot of potential there. I do...

There was talk earlier in the thread about Stamenić and the up and down start he’s had. That was the best we’ve seen from him today imo. He was a bit rushed in his decision making at times giving the ball away unnecessarily, but overall a really solid and dominant performance from him. Nice to...

Whatever happens, it a day out with the lad and an escape from being nagged about chores at home 🤣. I’ll enjoy it.

He’s looking out of his depth so far. Even stuff like going up the Railway with the fans pre-match doesn’t sit well with me. It’s an easy gimmick that will convince a few that he’s ‘one of us’, but he should be all over every aspect of match day and looking to see where can improve. Or at the...

Benson can beat a man like nobody else in the club. There’s definitely something there.

His strength there wasn’t his passing. He’s not terrible and does like a pinged diagonal, but he’s not a cultured CB either. His strength was always in his ability as a stopper.

He’s certainly looks a downgrade on O’Brien and Grimes at the moment. He’s still finding his feet and was rated highly enough for Forest to have a look. Plus he’s had a crap start with his father passing. So I’m with you hoping he can step up in time. I don’t think people appreciate how much of...

Only positive in terms of transfer hype, but that wasn't based on any reality or reason. I doubt all but a very small minority of us fans had heard of most of our signings let alone seen them play. And then people got even more carried away because we were spending £5 million and £7 million on...
