Would've given Inoussa a start, and Ron a rest, unsurprising Cullen in for Widell, cautiously optimistic about today

Widell has played well but at the same time when a player comes off the bench and makes a match winning contribution you need to reward that which is something Sheehan and Williams never understood. That kind of mentality drives the players on the bench to offer more and those who start to offer more to keep their place over the guy looking over their shoulder.

No complaints at all with that lineup
100%. Just don't let us down Cullen. He won't get a better opportunity or moment to further impress. Won us the game last week, and team riding on confidence.

Never really impressed with Cullen but kinda had to start him based on last week. As it sends a message, work hard and get rewarded. Ronald proberly in due defensive cover.

Two wins, you have to go with the same again or as close as you can. Would rather Widell to start, Cullen’s had more than enough starts and his effective contributions (excellent ones…Blackburn and Pompey) have come from the bench late on. Still, the argument to start him with his change in outlook is worth a shot.

I’d love to do these properly, but it’s a horrible place that always seems to upset us, so a draw would be a great result to maintain the feel good.
