    Matos appreciation thread

Galbraith is suited and helps the team in both positions, as the results show, which is why Matos has played him in both positions depending on the form of the RB.

I can’t think of a player where we have turned down offers from a higher division and the player stayed and was happy. Bodde to Derby is the transfer that comes to mind with us playing real hardball, even though he did kick up a fuss, but I’m sure Derby were in the same league.

The reality is, if the big boys come calling then the club don’t really have a choice. Agents force these moves or risk a very unsettled dressing room.

Away wins are hard fought in this league no matter who they are against. We showed a different side to us tonight and ground out that win when it would have been easy to fold.

Stamenic has to play for me, I think he’s outstanding. He’s relatively fresh after a 2 match ban you would think. Put him in for both.

Just crazy, you can feel sometimes people are annoyed that they have to wait a few more days to get another chance to have a proper moan.

He did, whichever RB we go with will be tasked with doing so. It’s how Matos plays, it’s not a product of Galbraith being there.

Some good fishing trips here tonight 😂 Galbraith looked fine back in the middle but a lot of stray passes and when he’s pushed over, we can get caught centrally so he has to play with the cover of Marko. Certainly not a square peg at RB though, he’s a very able one as he’s shown for most of...

Well the doom merchants will have to wait until the next game now at least! 😂

Stamenic is a monster in the 6. Galbraith looking like he’s enjoying today’s role and Key looked ok too!

Will be an acid test for Galbraith back in the middle. If he does well today starting there it may stick.

I think training in a relaxed environment can potentially show a players ceiling, translating that to on the pitch on a game day with all the pressures that come with it is the part where the manager needs his man management skills and tactical clarity. I think Matos will get the best out of...

I hope he shows what he’s made of and gets up to speed by the end of the season just so we can see the type of thing he can offer us next season.

Commentators for our game on Sky. That’s barking mad and turns it pretty farcical from the broadcaster. I understand they want to cash in on famous faces but for me they have a duty to broadcast a neutral approach.
