They have become America’s Soccer club, it’s a powerful thing for them. I can’t say I have too much jealousy or envy, if it were Cardiff then that’s a totally different story.

Walta shouldn’t be judged as a typical signing in my opinion. He isn’t match fit which will make a huge difference. We have to keep the faith with him, 16 goals from midfield isn’t nothing.

Feel like we’re on the right path with the right manager. We have to remember that Wrexham have bought and continue to buy players who are Championship ready because they have the ability to do that (although not all of those played tonight). We have looked further afield in our recruitment and...

It’s a shame Walta has come from the league he has because it means he wasn’t ready to just slot straight into the team but from what I’ve seen of him and the stats he comes with I think he will add a lot to us. Wingers should be a major focus for us in the summer. Nothing against the boys we...

Agree, think we need someone with pace and better technical ability next to one of Cabango and Burgess. Feel that we might be targeting a RB in the summer if Lissah isn’t fancied. It’s in attack I have the major worries though. Even if we had just one other player who could score around double...

Only way we’re going to solve the quality in both boxes is in the market, feel like our defence is solid enough (maybe one or two things needed) but there is nowhere near enough contribution in our front line outside of Vip.

Yes, we see it as a rivalry, that’s why it’s our owners who’ve been parachuted in to do commentary on the game! As for the “comfortable win” thing, we’ve won as many games as they have this season. Playing them will never be like playing Cardiff, I don’t care what they do to be honest.

    Championship watch

We really should have picked up the 3 points against Preston at home, we are the only team in their last 5 that they have picked up any points against. If we had, a win against Wrexham on Friday would have put us on the same points in joint 6th!

    Summer Investment

I don’t think we’re going to suddenly be able to spend millions more than we have done but people go on about revenue all the time. Surely if ours increased by a noticeable amount it would help us in some way? I still think a lot of our summer spending will be because of the 15m+ sale of Vip...

    Summer Investment

It’s exciting to think that we may be able to shop in a different market if that is what would happen if money does come in this summer. Although you’d think that our wage bill would have to go up, that was reportedly the stumbling block with our more ambitious targets last summer. Can be a...

Agree, his all round game has always been a good part of his game for me but he has definitely improved it this season. He’s created 6 big chances, it’s been other players’ finishing that has let him down a bit. Think McBurnie has similar numbers and is on something like 6 assists.

Don’t want to be the negative one regarding the play offs but we have probably the toughest month of the season coming up, it’s not a good April at all. I’ll be impressed if we beat last seasons points tally. Still though, the hope is alive. I think we’ll be hoping to make them next season...

I really hope we can deliver Matos some good players this summer. You can see the football that he wants to play (1st half tonight was excellent) but we aren’t always capable of dominating a game and sustaining control. He’s definitely the right man for me but has to be backed with quality...

    Galbraith

No I don’t think you’re wrong to expect that but I think he would have more contributions if he had played more in midfield this season. He needs to be used as an 8 in my view, he can do much more than keep the play ticking over. I know our midfield tends to be quite fluid but I liked what we...

I was unsure about the first yellow Sorba Thomas got yesterday, just looked like Franco blocked his shot but having seen it on the replay, it is a yellow. He goes in high for the volley knowing Franco is there. Not sure what he was up to yesterday but could have easily been sent off before he...

    Zan Vipotnik

It will probably be a combination of him getting a good offer elsewhere and us wanting to get max value for a player that cost us nothing in transfer fees. Plus, we all know there are areas in the squad that need improvement and selling him would allow us to do that. From what the new owners...

    Zan Vipotnik

I think we will end up selling him because his value will peak for us in the summer. We won’t be able to sell for as much a year down the line with his contract running out sadly. That’s how it probably should go with the type of model we’re running with but that doesn’t mean I’m not gutted to...

    Zan Vipotnik

Not so sure about that, he scores worldies because he can whack Hell out of the ball with both feet and that’s natural for him. He also scored a few worldies last season which would suggest that this season isn’t a purple patch. Looking at a recent compilation of his goals, he has scored a...

    Zan Vipotnik

Selling Vip is probably how it should go if we’re serious about operating a buy low (in this case nothing) and sell high model. Whatever we get for him will be a profit for us. The other side of that is, if we want to become a more ambitious club then selling our better players isn’t always...

    Spurs facing a Relegation battle.

That’s them without Van de Venn for a few games. Don’t want Spurs to come down because it’s a guaranteed promotion for them but it is a genuine possibility now and it would be fascinating to see a “big six” club go through relegation.
