    Wrecsam v Chelsea

He runs around a lot and they’re already missing a couple of midfielders so the more they have out for next Friday the better.

Sorry to hear that. Got quite a lot done there over the years.

    Wrecsam v Chelsea

I admit I got it totally wrong. I thought that technology would be a good thing and even things up for the smaller sides over the course of a season, but it’s been a total disaster for the match going fan! Sadly that genie can’t go back in the box!

I think he probably should have been taken out of the team sooner when it was obvious his confidence was on the floor and every decision he made seemed to be the wrong one. Not helped by the crowd being on his back but that’s part of being a professional footballer I guess. If he had been...

All ties from the last 16 onwards in the FA Cup for the last couple of years.

I’d have said House of Frames always do a good job (albeit not cheap) but just searched for their details and looks like it’s closed down! Haven’t used them for a few years, so not sure if they’ve moved or the business has shut?

Extra Time - same as our game. All the way from 1st round to the final

No replays at all any more I thought?

    Wrecsam v Chelsea

We did play well for sure, but they were one of the worst sides I’ve seen down here this season on that night.

    Wrecsam v Chelsea

They’ve looked decent every time I’ve seen them on TV this season apart from that League Cup game against Cardiff. All the more surprising how poor they were at our place. This going to extra time would be a bonus before Friday.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swans 2 Stoke 0 | Attendance: 16,147 | 7th March 2026 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

I’m sure others have mentioned earlier in the thread but 8 wins and 26 points from the last 10 games must be as good a run as we’ve had at the Liberty in 21 seasons. Kudos to the management team and players. Be great if we can nick a couple of away wins before the end of the season to increase...

    Zan Vipotnik

Tbf at Championship level he scored 20 in his one season.

    Zan Vipotnik

Bit harsh to not include McBurnie & Ayew. Last 2 seasons we struggled for a goal scorer but in the other years since relegation we have had someone score around 20. Bigger issue has been lack of goals from out wide/midfield. That’s not to say I wouldn’t keep Vipotnik if finances allowed but...

    Zan Vipotnik

As a couple of other people have said I think Galbraith is more likely to hold his value for the next 12 months, so I’d edge towards selling Vipotnik if we had to cash in on one of them. Replacing him (in particular his goals this season) could be more difficult though. Would need Idah to step...

    6 Nations 2026

Much better last 2 matches in fairness but they really need to get a win next week, if for no other reason than to know that they are capable of winning matches.

6 Clubs in the Play-Offs from Next Season 2026/27

Interesting stat for context… ‘The last time a Championship team was promoted to the Premier League after finishing outside of the top-four was in 2018-19, when fifth-placed Aston Villa defeated Derby County, who finished sixth, 2-1 at Wembley. Blackpool, in 2009-10, were the last club to win...

6 Clubs in the Play-Offs from Next Season 2026/27

From a footballing point of view I agree. There’s a rationale that can be argued if 3rd and 4th just had to win 1 home game to get to Wembley. The way this is being done is purely financial. Not surprised by that and if we’re 7th or 8th next season it’ll be a great decision!!

    Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney

It’s an optional alternative broadcast, like they used to do FanCam back in the day. It won’t be the main broadcast on Sky.
