He didnt change shape though - we continued with a back 4 and Canango at RB instead of a knackered Galbraith. The point was we stepped out more as a back 4 and midfield. Definitely an improvement in such a short time.

Ronald is a total conundrum. Busts his ass and is fantastic covering for his full back. Which incidentally makes Key seem even worse! On the other hand his finishing, and particularly crossing is so bad as to be laughable. He literally either chooses the wrong option or executes terribly 95% of...

I literally look at Detroit from my house - across the Detroit river it is less than a mile away. Ford Field Comerica park and the LCA are less than 5 miles away. Was a time i crossed about 10 times a month - now the border is much more hostile, US prices have equalized with Canadian - and no...

I think a lot of posters have unreasonabe expectations. Winning championship games is hard, winning by multiple goals even harder. This is why there is about 12 points between the relegation zone and the play offs. Edging close games is the difference between the top and bottom. Togetherness...

Put so much in Saturday the physios have probably called this one. I expect to see a ton of action from the bench. On a side note - this is a crucial game for Idah - he needs to impress to really demonstrate his value to the squad. At times he looks quick, mobile and talented. Without the ball...

I live in Windsor ON - a 4 hour drive south of Toronto. Today we have had 5 inches of snow and temperatures ranging from day time highs of -2 to -10. In the summer we can get weeks of 35 degrees and humidity throught the roof because of the great lakes. In short it can be uncomfortable both...

    The Ashes 2025/26

In my opinion, the tactical approach results from an inability to critically think. Great that we are attacking relentlessly, but the key to the game is to do to the opposition the thing that they least want. Classic example was Starc batting out time and keeping in them in the field, so that...

Lots to digest and lots of improvements- 2 questions What does it say when you bring off uour striker and opt to play without one instead of Idah? What the hell has happened to Cullen? AlwYs been streaky - but he looks shocking right now - at home on the international stage but out of his depth...

Oxfords last 3 games (before today) were a draw V Boro, a draw v Norwich and a victory over Ipswich. They are not the cream of the division - but they are quite hard to beat. In fact they have only been beaten by 2 goals (never more) in 3 games this Championship season including today!

Yes-we have been playing like a team short of confidence and esperience in deling with pressure. Green shoots today - not just the win, but some key steps forward - here are a few Different set pieces causing problems Winning the ball back higher up the pitch Playing with a RB instead of a...

We have players that can press effectively, and through errm illness? we have removed a clear liability that Oxford would have been looking to exploit. Cautiously optimistic - but these next 2 games are cup finals and should be attacked accordingly!

    New manager assistants

What is needed here - and I thought we had made progress in this area - is transparent communications. Fans need to be told what the delay is - what the likely outcome is - and what the plan B is. Poison spreads on sites ike this in the absence of clarity.
