I just think we're up against a much better team playing with confidence at home. They're making us look - and feel - leggy and full of inconsequential huff and puff as they're dominating how the game is being played. F*ck knows how he turn that around in the 2nd half, but I hope we do.

So what are the consequences long-term if that is the case? i.e. the fundamentals of the coaches style of play doesn't work over a prolonged period of time? I'm not saying that is the case, but the logical conclusion of that point of discussion isn't' good, is it?

I think it's more the lack of diversity in where those goals are coming from. If Vip stays fit and continues to score at this rate, fine, but a dry spell for 4-5 games from him and I'd question if we'd have enough goals in the rest of the team to keep up the momentum. Not saying it's impossible...

On a kinda related note, I've long thought throw-ins are ripe for some rule changes to stop time-wasting. With the multi-ball system there's no reason it has to take an age to get the ball back in play. I think setting a time-limit for delivering the ball back in play from the time the player...
