So Hull beating Charlton in the early game wouldn't only keep alive the possibility of us relegating Nathan Jones on the final day, but would mean Norwich's extremely faint playoff hopes would be over shortly before kick-off against us. That would be a bonus.

    Millwall

If Wrexham get positive results in those final two games and make it in, they will absolutely deserve it and will enter the playoffs in great form. Fingers crossed to be in the position to relegate Nathan Jones next weekend, that would be an enticing prospect.

    Football Focus ending

It's absolutely fine for you to think that of course. You're wrong, but you're entitled to your opinion just like everyone else.

    Eom

Yep. Wrexham's vastly different financial situation makes signing a then 31-year old to a three year contract on likely decent wages is no big deal. If he flopped or they get promoted, they'll just loan him out to a lower league team, content to get some of his wages paid. They've been doing...

To balance my earlier post, I should point out that Ronald has the relatively strong stats (for this team) of 4 goals and 5 assists in 43 games, but we are all aware how frustrating he can be when it comes to final ball or shooting opportunities. My point overall was that stats are one part of...

    Football Focus ending

Exactly. Nothing to do with box ticking, woke, or whatever other nonsense people come up with. We watched it and MOTD years ago because that was all we had. Now we can consume football 24/7, so why would we tune into scheduled shows like Football Focus? My 13 year old is loving the Premier...

Nathan Dyer played all 46 games in our promotion season. His stats? 2 goals and 7 assists (4,004 minutes). Eom has played in 43 games this season and has 2 goals and 5 assists (2,381 minutes). No-one was questioning Dyer's place in the team that season. Yes it would be lovely for Eom to add...

    Steve Brown DoF?

A few more Ethan Galbraith like signings (in age, quality, cost, potential sale value) all over the pitch would do nicely. Be nice if it was that easy.

True, but you could say that about every player in the team bar one.

The Championship says no to VAR

I haven't seen the highlights of this, but the article says that Sousa's side took a throw-in while the other team hadn't finished making a substitution. If so, seems like the correct decision was reached and Sousa is just pissed they didn't get away with it.

That was never a penalty in a million years, outside the box. Wonder if QPR's owner voted against VAR? Having said that, YES!!!!

Thought Cullen was going to score with his first touch then. Adding a cutting edge seems to be the biggest priority of the summer right now. We should be out of sight here yet could still drop points if they score against the run of play.

Tymon played the full 90+ on the weekend and busting a gut to get on the overlap past Eom there. Quality.

Not surprised they're making a quadruple sub, we've been pulling them all over the pitch when in possession and pressing them to death when they have the ball.

Ronald is now our joint second highest goal scorer this season. Which I think says a lot.

    Season 26/27

In hindsight, it's definitely the fitness levels on show in preseason that should have set alarm bells ringing. The hand-wringing about the results ignores that we started the season with 3 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats from the opening 8 games and were in 8th place in the table. Not to mention...
