Sell VP For 20M (No Less)

If you took out all the penalties, he'd still be the top scorer in the divison. He's had an outstanding season.

Bellamy might also think Cullen is shite, but it's not as if he has many other options. Cullen is someone to chuck on if we're already losing and need a goal. He can't do anything else. We've seen it time and again. Expecting him to spend 30+ minutes in midfield and be anything other than a...

    A Tactical Masterclass! 😲😂

He was an arrogant, thin skinned buffoon who wasted two years of our time and resources trying and failing miserably to prove himself the smartest guy in the room.

    A Tactical Masterclass! 😲😂

We only got anywhere near the playoffs after we binned said "methods".

    Eom

Wow. I thought that Eom's contribution wasn't being fully reflected in the stats, but when you put them like that he hasn't done badly at all in comparison, especially when you consider how much more defensive and cagey the game has become.

    Steve Brown DoF?

Liam Cullen and Mark Harris are Internationals. International football is not even close in terms of intensity.

    Steve Brown DoF?

That would be a smart move IMO. I don't think the players we've brought in from abroad are lacking in quality, but the hustle and sheer competitiveness of British football and the Championship in particular can take some adjustment time.

Flynn Downes - Missed Red Card Offence

Innit. No good to us after the fact. We'd probably have beaten ten men.
  9. Dr. Winston

    Eom

Stuff like this is what I mean when I say the stats don't really reflect the quality of his play.
  10. Dr. Winston

    Eom

His performances have been decent all season for the most part imo. The stats haven't really reflected that, although no doubt we'd have needed him on the score sheet more often. He's got the ability. His all round game does seem to have kicked on a bit in the last couple of months though.

    Super Jay Fulton

Always been a decent player. No doubt in a few days this performance will have been forgotten and he'll go back to being considered shit again, just like every previous one.

    Sam Parker

He's definitely moved right back from a "must buy" job in the Summer to an "actually we can probably manage without" one for me.
  13. Dr. Winston

    Ok, I'll say it.

The problem a lot of these players have had is a lack of consistency. When fit, Inoussa was in and out of the side. One week starting, one week getting five minutes off the bench, next week not playing at all. The Championship is arguably one of the hardest, most difficult leagues in the world...

    Our centre backs

We can get away with playing one of them. Not both.

An word of praise for Sam Parker. He's never impressed me all that much when he's come off the bench to play as a winger, but based on what we saw today and in recent games he's got the makings of a very capable right back.

    Lorent Tolaj

Looks very Vipi-ish. Not hugely fond of the idea of paying hefty seven figure fees for League One strikers though. This time last year people were demanding that we drop £5m on Richard Kone and he's only scored nine all season with a goals per minute rate almost three times worse than Vipi.
  17. Dr. Winston

    Zan Vipotnik

A decent case could probably be made for him being a better finisher the less time that he has to think about it.
  18. Dr. Winston

    Zan Vipotnik

His normal scoring rate across his career is basically where he is now. One goal in about every 140-170 minutes of football. Even taking last season into account his overall rate here is a league goal every 171 minutes. The fact that he's scoring "more goals than statistics would suggest" tells...

    Jonjo Shelvey

If he had a brain he could have been one of the best players of his generation. Huge natural talent and an absolute joy to watch when he was on it but not the aptitude to get the best out of the ability he had. When he used to live in/near Glais he could apparently often be found just having a...

    Adam Worthless?

Zero experience of anything approaching the skills required for the job. More use to us at present as a player marketing tool, unless he can be pursuaded to play his last season or two here.
