I thought he was superb today. He caused them all sorts of problems and looked to have more confidence. That moment when he picked up the ball, drove at the defence and forced a save from the keeper is completely missing from all our other midfielders and wingers. He obviously needs to start...

Yes, he’s not got enough reliable options. We’re not far off being a clear PO contender, but do need more of a goal threat from the wings and/or number 10 position if that’s going to happen.

Awful wasn’t he. A surprising set of subs today. Widell and Stamenic were our best players so should never have gone off that early. Cullen should never have started and I’m not sure why we keep wasting a sub spot taking Parker off when Ward offers less. I’m proud of the lads today. Most had a...

Yalcouye did more in his first 3 minutes than Cullen managed in 60. That’s probably why.

Widell’s had a cracking game. He had more running left in him too. Cullen not so cracking - the wrong option for this one.

    Best right back?

Jack Swan in their latest edition are asking who was best out of Whyndham, Connor, Rangel or Naughts. Whyndham was before me yet is probably the right answer. Out of the rest, I enjoyed watching Rangel the most. https://southwalesmedia.com/5272-2 (Cover page AI cockup is funny)

    Melania and The Streisand Effect

If nothing else, it kills the theory that the US only bombed Iran as a distraction from the Epstein files. It’s very bizarre timing and disclosure isn’t it. I’ve no idea what’s going on there. PS. Just to add, that’s a lovely looking pad but I’d be worried about rising sea levels and increased...

    Leeeeeooooo

Good to hear he’s not out of favour. My lad has been following his international appearances and is adamant he should be playing. He’s probably got a point. You don’t get up to speed with the Championship without playing in the Championship. Maybe he’s not as good at pointing and being stuck in...

Yep, that was an obvious option. That was a poor starting selection and cost us their first goal.

Ah, that makes sense. He looked well of it. Cullen had a stinker too. I felt sorry for him.

    Grimesy’s Reception?

Yep. As bad as selling Piroe and buying Jerry Yates 🙈 We let some great players go and bought some right crap in the last 3-4 years. We did a bit better last summer though. Galbraith was a steal.

    Grimesy’s Reception?

He wouldn’t be able to carry us, we’ve got too many other problems and especially the lack of attacking threat. But he is obviously good enough for a top of the table side. He always was and we got weaker when he left. I’d rather have him than Stamenic. I think I’d be in the minority though.

I’ve assumed he’s in there for his energy. He does get back too, even if he causes chaos. Watching him trying to play is painful though. Eom’s not much better but for different reasons. If you could take the best bits of both we’d have a decent player. Although he still wouldn’t be able to score 🤣

Yep, miles apart. They were better all over the pitch really, but their front 3 is where there’s a massive difference. There’s no point worrying too much about that one. It wasn’t from lack of effort - we were lively and made it difficult for them for 20 mins. But after that they were miles...

Yep. We need better players if we want to kick on. We’re not far off and we’ll have more better days than bad ones with this side, but we’ve not got enough firepower to challenge.
