The Championship says no to VAR

On the subject of the standard of refereeing, how about penalty point scheme where every match they drop a clanger they get hit with x amount of penalty points and certain thresholds come with consequences. The ultimate consequence of being dropped from being a match day official, completely...

The Championship says no to VAR

It is pleasing to hear the owners have taken in to consideration the impact it will have on supporters in side the stadium. I think I'd prefer the EFL concentrated o improving the standards of the officials which let's be honest are well below the minimum standard required.

The Championship says no to VAR

I was the same as well, honestly thought it was going to improve things. Right now, I can't stand it. The game has been sterilised.

According to Sky Sports, we rejected a bid from Wrexham for him in January.

The Championship says no to VAR

Mixed feelings about this one. On one hand it should rule out all the ridiculous decisions we never seem to get and on the other hand we've seen how incompetent the officials are in the Premier league still are, even with the tech. Think I'd rather carry on as we are...

Haven't seen much past what was on BBC breakfast. What's else has he said apart from the decision seemed to have already been made before he came in to the role.

    The Disappearing Thread

It's fairly obvious why the thread was removed, having another thread about it is pretty pointless. Going to be a long summer, judging by this.

    Tymon

We seem to have a few who routinely criticise new signings from the get go. For Tymon to get in to the team of the year is hell of an achievement, we are very lucky to have him.

    Season 26/27

Hopefully another step in the right direction with some extra bodies brought in to strengthen the squad. Looking forward to the derby, and hopefully a push for the top eight. I think we might miss out. Ultimately for a club of our size is to stay in the division Would love some of our own...

    Table since Matos took over

Three games left, shame two are away from home. Matos has made us hard to beat at home which hasn't been the case for at three years. August is going to be interesting with a full pre season and hopefully some new players that will help take the team forward.

    Table since Matos took over

We've just played Boro, Leicester and Southampton and only lost one of those game and that was more or less to a last minute winner. That's progress, to me.

    Ok, I'll say it.

You stick to stats, I'll keep using my eyes.

    Ok, I'll say it.

Each to their own, I quite enjoy watching him and the rest of the team play week in week out. I haven't been able to say that for a number of years. Football these days has been diluted by the overuse of stats.

    Ok, I'll say it.

Much prefer the eyeball test to some random website. Solid 8/10 for debut season in a new country and new league. Can he get better, absolutely. Will he get better, absolutely. Not going to answer the Ollie Cooper question, the answer is fairly obvious to most.

Jay and Marko are both are hard working midfielders who focus on breaking up play and supporting the team defensively. No idea on Nunes, sincerely hope the club weren't held to ransom and agreed to a minimum appearance fee or percentage of his wage if he doesn't play.
