I have started to hear rumbles from other sites too. And though many will state it's facts, that's are reported alot of critism about his tactics and negative approach is being questioned. I have someone I work with her says they like to sit on the fence. I call it a s*** stirer.Over on Twitter there's a very vocal few calling for VM to be replaced![]()

Some excuses from my endFurther to my post in this thread about our form really dropping off as the season goes on:
Last six games we are now 20th.
Last ten we are 13th.
It’s not great.
Next season we can judge properly, but we are a long way off where we need to be at present.
The second point you make undermines the first though! Some excuses from my end. We have very little to play for and going against all teams who either trying to stay in the league or trying to get promotion. What gives me hope more than anything is this team showed real passion on Saturday and just didn't turn up. If we didn't have that I would be worried. Yes it doesn't always win games but it goes a long way.

I understand alot of people have concerns that we dip off etc. But like I did with Sheehan and every manager, irrelevant if that is blind loyalty and uneducated stand point. Im willing to give Matos benefit of the doubt. He needs a pre season and a window. Let's face it any pre season is better than what we had under Sheehan. And see where it takes us. I personally like what I see under Matos and can see the potential. But it's down to him at some point to make sure it comes together even on away days. We can't expect to win every game, but I would agree we need to get better on certain aspects. The second point you make undermines the first though!
I’m hoping your view is the case btw.
I’m fearing to be honest that it’s because we are playing better teams and can’t find a way of getting past them.
Leicester are going down so an odd point to make. We've just played Boro, Leicester and Southampton and only lost one of those game and that was more or less to a last minute winner.
That's progress, to me.
Last 6 games we have played 4 of the top 7
Every game we have played well at times .
Last 10 games we played 5 of the top 7
I think Matos is doing ok .
I'm sure he and his coaches are learning about what Championship football is all about .
Completely agree with your second part.Three games left, shame two are away from home.
Matos has made us hard to beat at home which hasn't been the case for at three years.
August is going to be interesting with a full pre season and hopefully some new players that will help take the team forward.
To be fair Leicester was in Premier league last year and yes they hadn't won in a while, but they have individual players who are better than this league. They still had alot to play for and we didn't.Leicester are going down so an odd point to make.
