Couldn't happen to a nicer club If the FA and/or UEFA/FIFA go after the head coach who it seems may have been the main architect of all this surely his career as a coach will be done

Conversation at the moment about if the Southampton players have a realistic legal recourse to sue the club if it was proven that the club institutionally was involved

Luis Suarez often used the tactic of chipping a ball into a player's hands at his sides and claiming for penalties

Southampton have tried to play the pity card I have seen BBC Southampton wheeling out the dinosaurs with ties to Southampton to reinforce the "its too harsh" narrative. If you cheat in any kind of tournament you get kicked out of said tournament, that's not rocket science. Imagine winning the...

This would be absolutely zero incentive whatsoever to stop cheating

It would depend on what the 4 point deduction is for. If it is for spying during the course of the season then it would be a big problem for the EFL credibility for it to be tossed out. Until we see the written reasons my belief is that the punishments are: 1. 4 points for 2 cases of spying...

Meanwhile the icon of integrity that is David Bernstein thinks that they should just get a fine: Yup lets say a £5m fine when they will earn £200+m assuming they come straight back down Such a disincentive that would be

Your First Ever Game At The Vetch !?

Feels like far too long ago for my liking It was a cup game, I want to say against Peterborough but I could be wrong We got spanked 4-0 if memory serves EDIT: Found it, we lost 4-1 actually, almost 30 years ago

Lets not also forget using insider information from Russel to try to save a few quid on his contract buyout with us two years ago. The odious shit stain of a club has more than a little bit of previous for breaking the rules I said in the playoff thread that I would find it immensely...

He didn't get many opportunities, but if I was being honest I didn't see much to be excited about. But young wingers always go one of three ways, they either try too hard and give the ball away a lot or they go into their shell and don't really show what they are about or rarely they come out...

The club needs to deal with the molars at the club asap

In the player's defense sometimes the ref blows up and stops play before the player can get to his feet faster than a boxing referee with a ten count

    The playoffs.

Whittaker was awful in both games

I can agree that that number is definitely not taking into context attacking dribbles, going past a player towards your own goal is significantly easier than going past a player while going forward. The majority of his successful dribbles is definitely the former rather than the latter.

In fairness its an independent entity that does the hearing and the EFL have asked them to expedite it so that it is before the playoff final so its not in their hands

If they win tonight then there is every chance that Southampton get disqualified from the playoffs anyway If they lose then I wouldn't be surprised to see the EFL slap them with a points penalty for next season
