Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
On a slightly related note, I had a double-take recently when I saw a Primark store in an upmarket shopping mall in Nashville, Tennessee. Didn't realize they were trying to break into the US market. No doubt some unsuspecting americans thinking this is high class european fashion...
I just think we're up against a much better team playing with confidence at home. They're making us look - and feel - leggy and full of inconsequential huff and puff as they're dominating how the game is being played. F*ck knows how he turn that around in the 2nd half, but I hope we do.
So what are the consequences long-term if that is the case? i.e. the fundamentals of the coaches style of play doesn't work over a prolonged period of time? I'm not saying that is the case, but the logical conclusion of that point of discussion isn't' good, is it?
Right. When we do get the ball it's very rushed and panicked. Have to give Ipswich credit for that though. If those pesky blue shirts weren't out there we'd look a million dollars.
We win the ball back in the high press, then within seconds it's back with Vigoroux to launch it up and lose it. Why didn't we just try and create an attack from that situation? Urgh, and then look what happens.
"Widell is expected to lead the Swansea attack." from the OS.
Interesting choice...
I'm fine with mixing it up. Don't know what works until you try it.
I’m not completely against Ronald staying as a back-up/energy sub, but there’s no way he should be starting for any team with playoff ambitions. He seems like an honest lad who tries his best, but it’s not at the level we need week in week out. A replacement starter is high on the list.
