• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Brazilian Gustavo Nunes Signs on Loan from Brentford.

The quote from VM about this notes his ability to play on both side of the pitch, so I can see him being used on the right.

Championship matchups are in place: Rams @ Seahawks Patriots @ Broncos My reason predicts a Seahawks v Patriots SB that Seattle wins, but my gut has been saying the Rams for a while now, so I’m just going to stick a pin in them at this point. And in case anyone might miss it, Caleb Williams...

The number of interceptions and fumbles in this game is wild (HOU V NE) I think CJ Stroud is broken.

    Filip Lissah

Lissah’s physical stature was a bit of a concern for playing centre-half, always looked a bit skinny and liable to get pushed around, (This is based of seeing him for the u21s a couple of years back, so he could have bulked up since then) If he can develop as a right-back who can cover in the...

The Seahawks 49ers game was a replay of the last time they met a couple of weeks ago without the missteps on offense from Seattle to keep the score down. Absolutely ragdolled them again. Bills defeated themselves. Hard to watch Could be looking at Sam Darnold picking up a ring before Allen...

Quite a weekend. I didn't watch all the games, but I managed to catch the 4th Quarter of the first 3, and wowzers, what a treat. I think they set a record for number of 4th quarter lead changes in the play-offs, all of the teams leading at the 2 minute warning lost in those first 3 I think...

Even going into the last 5-10 mins of the 90, I remember thinking that I don't really care if WBA sneak an undeserved winner as I'd seen enough from us at that point to feel positive for the future.I wanted to us to win of course and I'm gutted we didn't, but sometimes you can be gutted after a...

I enjoyed watching him in college. I remember seeing him in a couple of games when he was at Oklahoma and thinking this guy is incredible at pulling rabbits out of hats in do or die situations. Another wild 4th quarter comeback yesterday.

Someone who can play wide-right, but also up-front would be ideal. Like Bianchini, but good.

I was tempted to skip the penalties as I just knew we would lose given how the game went... Of course, I didn't 'know' we were going to lose - it was just your typical football fan psychosis in these situations, so I settled in to suffer with the rest of you. I have to admit to fearing the...

    Joel Ward

I watched VM's press conference for WBA and he was clear that he wanted someone with leadership/experience, so I can understand Parker not falling into that role at this stage in his career. Also confirmed that Ward was signed to play RB - which was a reasonable assumption, but I know some have...

Seems a strange one, especially given the statement from the owners that we were expecting a quiet January as we ha a manager known for developing young players, but instead they go out and sign a 36 year old when we have Sam Parker sitting on the bench week in week out (and Casey). Saying...

    FA Cup Third Round Memories

The Sheff Utd game stands out for me, such a great away day. The West Ham game, I remember we were out on the lash on the Kingsway the night before tickets for the home game went on sale, and after the clubs closed, we walked straight over to join the queue for tickets.

What.a.f*cking.4th.quarter. Wowzers. Congrats to the Steelers. Happy for them. I was technically rooting for the Ravens to improve the Titans draft picks, but was willing Pittsburgh on in the end. Steelers kicker misses an extra point for the 1st time in 4 years to give them just a 2 point...
