• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Missed Call That Matched a Legacy: Huw Jenkins, Leeds United, Dan James, and the Transfer That Never Was

“I find it very difficult to fight on in a football club I love but can no longer control." Now don't get me wrong, it was one of the few things he did right post Laudrup, but the staggering lack of self awareness in that statement sums the bloke up.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Sheffield Wed 0 Swansea City 2 | Att: 19,740 | 3pm, 30/08 | The EFL Championship | Hillsborough Stadium

Duff's training was from the 1970s. Running without the ball is generally bollocks, especially when you can do drills/small sided games with the ball that gets players running as hard and in game specific situations

From Beacon to Bystander: The Rise and Decline of the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust

'They didn’t settle because it was right. They settled because they were scared. Scared of losing boardroom privileges. Scared of standing up to the club. Scared of delivering on the legacies of those who had gone before them—those who fought, built, and believed in something far bigger than a...
