Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thought we were unlucky to not get at least a point against them away, and they've been a bit up and down of late, but can't honestly see us getting anything against a team nine points clear of the play-offs. We're a decent side, but cannot remember the last time we genuinely beat a top team in...
Think stuff like this is a bit reactionary. Been the better team, had a few chances that we probably could've done better with, and have been at the unfortunate at the very least with the ref. Not sure how high your bar is set
I think this is possible, but Death Row are a bit mythologised rather than a huge label at this point. Virtually all of their existing artists are just Snoop Dogg and his mates, and Snoop's recent output is not a career high to say the least. In essence, I'm not actually sure there's a huge...
Frustrating how good Stamenic is, leaves us with a real conundrum for the rest of the midfield. Two only from Widdell, Franco, Galbraith, Walta, and Yalcouye. Good problem to have I suppose, but can't be any other team in the league with so many positive options in the same position
Wonder if we'll see a few of the U21s in the senior squad towards the end of the season? The one benefit of having nothing to play for is the opportunity it offers for the kids to get minutes
Cannot believe what I'm seeing. Spent a day away from this forum and come back to people genuinely speculating that we could go down. We are TWELVE points above relegation with eleven games to play - come on!?
Wish we could drop Burgess for this. In a really rough run of form (thought he was dreadful last night), scored two own goals against Ipswich at home, and probably needs a rest. Shame we have absolutely no-one of note behind him and Ben
Only 7 starts all season, just 2 under Matos. I think my only critique of Matos so far is his aversion to using Yalcouye as anything other than an impact sub. He was the best player on the pitch yesterday, and has to start against Ipswich
My main positive for the game is that we have a clear form best XI to pick on Saturday.
Vigs
Key - Cabango - Burgess - Tymon
Galbraith
Franco - Yalcouye
Nunes - Vip - Eom
Only the first good performance in a while from Key, but he has to move Galbraith into midfield
At the risk of sounding melodramatic, the impact a big win could have on the club tonight is enormous.
Short-term, keeps us with something to aim for throughout the rest of the season as the play-offs would still be on (yes it's unlikely, no, we're probably not a good enough team). Long-term...
Benson a dud, but I've liked Nunes so far and just cannot work Inoussa out. Shows moments of enormous quality but then too easily goes back in his shell. Don't think Sheehan was the right manager for him
