• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    The Preston Party Thread!

Not the right match thread, but seeing as it doesn't exist yet, thought I'd bump on here that tickets for the Preston game on Tuesday are available for free on TicketsForGood - NHS or Charity worker email needed

Think Ronald's been much better under Matos. Would be for Nunes getting a start, but I don't think Ron is the empty shirt that he was under Sheehan

    Filip Lissah

I just spent a solid 30 mins on this, it is fucking agonising. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filip_Lissah

Summer Window - Early Transfer Talk

Congreve worth a run in the squad imo, having a great season in Scotland. Key a tough one, as he's been poor this season but more than solid for his first two years. Bianchini would likely suit Matos' style, but would expect he moves on. Loans for Parker and Govea, though I fear Govea is too...

    Congreve

From what I can see of the loan three, Congreve and Lissah are almost certain to be squad regulars next season. Wilson I'm less sure of. He has pace to burn, but only has 3g+a for Falkirk in over 1,000 minutes - he might be better on the eye than his stats show, but it isn't breathtaking

Before today, I'd have taken 6 points from the next 3 games to remain in the play-off hunt. Today was probably the toughest of those 3, so hopefully we can move on, but puts a lot of pressure on next week

What's the fucking point? We're so poor defending set pieces that it's completely irrelevant how good we are anywhere else

The Swans Concede a Goal combo there - set piece, former player, straight after halftime

Derby, Bristol City, Preston as the next three, all about as good as one another, and really are beatable if we are being serious about play-offs.

Could we see the Dogg on Sunday?

I have a single source at the Swans, and was told by them last week that Snoop is 'planning to visit in March'

I think some of the posters on here excited for a drubbing may need to contain themselves a touch. This is absolutely, 100%, cast-iron a game that needs to be won, but Wednesday aren't shipping goals left and right. They're fairly well coached considering the circumstances, and 'only' conceded...

In terms of proven pedigree, Walta has to be our best signing of the Champ era? He might be an absolutely crocked lump of shite, but his stats from last season and international caps imply that he's an absolute coup

    Losing a pet

Such a funny time for this post. Had our staff put down on Friday out of nowhere - was 10 years old and in perfect health, than just got some undiagnosed illness and lost 3kg in 10 days, couldn't hold food, and that was that. Strange little lives we lead, getting emotional over the family member...

    Cullen

I didn't like Cullen holding his face, but mainly because he was caught in the neck - hold that, and he's sent off anyway, no need to fake it

Inoussa being out makes it likely Widdell will share the left with Eom, so frees up his role. Would be surprised if Walta started early though, season in Sweden has been finished since November so he's not match fit

As and when it suits, I flip on whether FotMob's ratings system means anything - looking at Walta's profile, I've decided FotMob is completely gospel and we're signing the best midfielder in Europe - https://www.fotmob.com/players/1276686/leo-walta
