• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Eom

Don't know why Inoussa isn't starting with Eom on the right. Ronald's huff and puff with no end product is taking the piss a bit now

£12 for an away ticket, very tempting. Shame I'm moving house and would risk the sanctity of my relationship by going.

Agree, Bianchini I don't expect to ever be a game-changer, but he strikes me as a very useful physcial asset for a high-pressing side. Modern football systems routinely have 'systems players', who provide little statistically, but suit a manager's intent perfectly; Bianchini might not be the...

I genuinely view the Stoke ground as akin to the Somme. Cannot remember a game we've had there that wasn't completely and utterly grim viewing

    Mel Nurse

Hope he's fighting fit soon - I lived next door to the Seahaven in my 2nd year of Uni; he onec knocked on our door and said I was 'disturbing the peace' for playing my guitar at 2 in the afternoon. Fair enough, I was almost certainly absolutely shit at that point.

We'd be 6 points from relegation regardless of results; with Stoke and Ipswich playing, the max we could be is 8 points from the play-offs, but would require about 4 different results to go specific ways

To put into perspective how mad this league is, a win today moves us 6 points above relegation, and 7 from the play-offs

Just on this... It makes sense if you're canny with the ins and outs of xG, but this is an example where it isn't a very good metric for a game. Under Sheehan, I was complaining week in, week out for about two months regarding our woeful attacking input and low xG, so really, I should be over...

Really encouraging performance, haven't had that much threat going forward for a long time. Eom's best game for us I'd say. Slightly worry about Portsmouth on Tues with their game being abandoned, they'll be very fresh

Yeah, Eom's looked really encouraging. He's such a frustrating player, as he's put in performances like this before, and then disappears for a month

They've either moved the away fans, or Oxford have brought approximately 0 with them

Think our entire squad are summed up in Ronald. Runs a lot, looks encouraging, cocks up the last pass every time
