Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
NHS email is needed to sign up, but partner has given me the password and there are no checks from there. Never in the two years of using it have had to show I work for the NHS when attending an event (and, according to gf, she wouldn't even be able to prove that herself anyway)
My gf works in the NHS, so I check it almost daily for gig tickets. Can get some really good stuff on there, particularly in the Summer. The Wales Rugby matches have all been on there this year, as were some big events that failed to sell particularly well. Got my Mum tickets for Robbie in...
Worth noting that tickets for this game have gone on Tickets for Good. If you work for NHS or a charity, it's a platform for free/reduced tickets; £3 a pop for Saturday and the same for Portsmouth midweek.
He started against Forest I think? Remember him looking really promising for about an hour, and effectively booked the promotion parade by half-time. I'm not against giving him a start at the weekend, if he's completely off it (as his attitude suggests), send him back in Jan
A manager with 12 games of experience through his career before this, too. Feel for the bloke, as I can't see this being anything other than a car crash, and not sure it's really his fault
He's getting 15 minutes a game though, it's absurd. He's comfortably looked our most dangerous attacking threat all season (admittedly a low bar), but isn't getting starts. Look at how much trouble he caused against Man City, he's a proper handful when allowed to be direct
Yeah, I got booted during the official sales as I got through the queue. Had to switch to 5g, start the queue again, and pay £214(!!!) each for four tickets.
Never usually sit at a gig, but it is what it is. At the 02 now and unbelievably excited. Hope the Swans pass the time well
'The club is working with Matos on finalising a backroom staff that provides the support and expertise to give him the best chance of being successful' does not fill me with confidence at all.
He's coming in all alone, as an inexperienced manager, to work with two coaches who, as much as we...
For people who rate Vital Swans, he's absolutely insistent that the release clause is not close to 1M euros.
I will say - even if it is, that's £800,000. That's half a Bianchini, it's not a big outlay for a manager, even for a club like us
I will go blue in the face talking people down from Carrick, too. Three seasons at Middlesbrough (two and a half of which had Latte Lath, all had Hackney, two Azaz), and he got the play-offs once. They finished something like 4 points above us last season, and we were stinking
Basically the only reason I bought a ticket tbf, thought it would be a fun day out for his first game. Will instead be watching the Swans get battered and going Christmas shopping with the girlfriend
Also think managerial appointments are increasingly becoming a completely random grab-bag in terms of success. Manning at Norwich was a great appointment at the time, and we'd have 100% taken him here, yet he's led them to the worst start in the club's history. Still should have done much better...
