    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    We can’t stick with this pairing if we want to achieve anything. One of the centre backs needs to be a ball player. Darling is doing sod all, we could bring him back.

    It wasn’t a wind up. I didn’t say we’d called them out but shouted out to them. We’ve tried to make it into more than it is because of their commercial reach.

    Widell isn’t good enough at this level at the moment. Hopefully he will be at some point. To be honest, I’d have preferred Cooper in there rather than him tonight.

    I don’t mind at all if they go up. It’s about time they had something to shout about. And I think the efforts their owners have put into making sure the whole area is improved as well as the club is laudable. They seem quite genuinely invested in the widest possible sense.

    It’s not a derby even slightly. Nowhere near as much as Bristol. But at the start of the season, we launched our kit by shouting out to Wrexham. It’s about trying to get some of their reach, which is what it is, but we can’t then moan that others are trying to link the two clubs.

    If they end up in the playoffs they’ll go up imo. It’s written in the stars. And if and when they do, they’ll have a hell of a budget. They were talking about them playing Liverpool at Yankee stadium this summer. Their commercial reach is huge.

    It is what it is to be honest. If we approach the game with energy and endeavour, I’m happy. As I’ve said before, the thought of spending next season getting absolutely smashed doesn’t fill me with a desire to go up just yet. Next season with a stronger squad and it’s different.
