• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

And your plan is to do what? Not support the club anymore?

    Time to move on

Taking the time to visit and engage with a fans' forum is more than most supporters will do, it shows a level of passion and care for the club beyond the norm. There’s no definitive right or wrong time to voice displeasure, but some moments are better than others. Given our current position...

    Time to move on

I think anyone posting or getting involved with a fan forum, regardless of the size of the club, has an obvious passion so not sure what substance is behind that comment

    Time to move on

You would rather get relegated out of spite.... got it, very rational statement. Personally I would rather get behind them and give them shit when an appropriate time arrives (i.e. at the end of shit performances or when the season has got no legs left in it). Each to their own

    Time to move on

I completely get where you’re coming from and probably share most of the frustrations with you about how the club has been run. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be disgruntled, just that there might be a better time for action. I’d never defend the way the club has been run over the past few years...

    Time to move on

That’s fair enough. I just believe it’s best to save that kind of noise for when the season is wrapping up, and we have a clearer idea of where we stand. To be clear, I’m not saying they should be let off the hook, far from it. The whole situation has turned into a complete farce. It would just...

    Time to move on

As mentioned in the posts above, the end of the season is the time to make our feelings clear, once we know where we stand. Whether we’re safe or relegated, that’s when any protests or frustrations should be voiced, as they won’t directly impact whether we stay in the league or not. I’m not...

    Time to move on

Yep, sure they read this message board and adjust their strategies accordingly.... I have not once said that they do not deserve the shit after this window or a pass for their piss poor running of the club. But there is an argument to be made for not going into the next few matches with a...

    Time to move on

Not what I meant sorry. I mean negativity going into the game. If it’s shite at the end, call it out as shite, I never pity clamp myself. It’s just not going to help anyone if we don’t get behind them, at the start, over the next few games.

    Time to move on

I don’t disagree with any of this, but sitting in a doom and gloom mindset won’t translate well onto the pitch. It’s been a dreadful run, and the pressure on us has dramatically increased. My only point is that we shouldn’t carry that negativity into the next few crucial games. Creating a toxic...

    Time to move on

Regardless of personal opinions, it’s time to move on. You can argue this has been a disastrous window, and there’s certainly truth in that. However, as someone pointed out earlier, if you assessed this transfer window purely in terms of incomings and outgoings, without the threat of a...

    January Transfer Rumours

Cullen should be benched for a bit as said above. Cooper is literally average league 1 standard at best. He's no longer a "young prospect" at 25 and has not done anything of note to warrant starting or arguably being in and around the team sheet. If he wasn't one of our own from the academy I...

    Jacob Wright - £4m

All we can hope is that IF it is true, that we put a deadline in place for him to decide so we can move on sharpish to new targets

M'borough, but that seemed to be hinged on Hayden Hackney heading to Porto. But Porto's bid was a low ball so not likely to be movement there
