• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I was very relieved to see Ronald not Cullen starting as it makes us much more solid. We are missing Eom on the right, although Widdell has been very energetic. I thought Walta has been a bit unlucky. A couple of inches is all that has stopped two or three passes from being absolute dreams...

The Championship says no to VAR

Sucks all joy from scoring a goal. Put up with human error, and obviously, only in our case, even though all other clubs claim it, outrageous bias 😆

Reform deciding the history of Wales in museums

Vote Plaid. F**k these c***s up good and proper.

    Keir Starmer

I don’t think she’d be a great leader anyway, but I’d love a feisty woman there. She’d scare the daylights out of the boys’ clubs in Parliament and the press, but she’d never catch a fair break. I think she’s trying to create an alliance with Burnham. Again, I’m not a big fan, but he’s...

This is all a pantomime really. Starmer is done, no matter what he knew didn't know or ought to have known. He has little political capital left beyond keeping us out of the war and making some (so far just) noises about trying to get closer to Europe, which any successor aint going to change...

    Spurs Away

Saw us lose twice in 82 and 83. This could be totally off beam, but hazy bad memories of Archibald and Crooks, and seem to remember a dreadful night game and Garry Bloody Brooke. I think I got a bus from Peckham, and had to get a night bus back. Tottenham on a night bus is not where you wanted...

    Wales Decides

We’re watching an old Dalgliesh with Bertie big bollocks and his vintage car. Class.

    Keir Starmer

I have real issues with Starmer and Labour since June 2924 when I was thrilled at turfing out those hopeless Tory scum, but it seems Starmer particularly gets personally blamed for not rectifying 14 really disastrous years while dealing with an impossible psychopath and his acolytes and tech...

    Our centre backs

I didn’t think I’d say this but I agree about Darling, even though I’d like someone better than him too.

    Our centre backs

Ryan Bennett was a much better player. These will be our centre backs next year unless we can miraculously sell one.

Oh well, I don’t like them, but better them than the Farage fluffing tractor plums.

Not sure why we still play loanees. That penalty call might have decided this game. They had momentum, that would have killed it. Still in it, but they look stronger and quicker. Nunes is making Ronald look a cracking player 😆

Decent half. We panic a bit under pressure on the ball and defending in the box. I’d like to see more options for the man with the ball, but I get that losing shape is our biggest risk against these. As I said last week, I don’t think this’ll end 1-0. Eom looks a lovely football player to me...

    West Brom Points Deduction???

I hope there is no points deduction now. Just get Fester down.

Oh please dont do it Gorringe

I don't think it's unreasonable for fans of a supposedly aspirational championship club to be skeptical about the possibility of an appointment of the DoF of Bristol Rovers. I felt ditto about Gorringe and he still has everything to prove. Didn't we have a coach from there recently too? I...

    Keir Starmer

It does show how effective the right wing, power hungry, fascist playbook is in blaming people, and folk falling for it though. Clearly the benefits system needs reform, it wasn't designed for a post-covid world. It's instructive that no one blames billionaires and super rich sociopaths, or...
