Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
It's hard to look at that today and think we are anywhere near a side with a realistic prospect of going up any time soon.
We still need a couple of wingers, a number 10 and at least one good centre back.
You don't even need to go that far.
This time next year if we are 11 points off 6th and 4 points off 8th, everyone will be getting excited about the possibility of making the playoffs.
Nothing wrong with adding a bit of excitement for fans.
When I read it I was surprised it was still there. I still go into town, albeit very rarely... but would very unlikely step foot in M+S.
Shopping in person in city centres in the same way as everyone previously did is obviously dying out, never to return. And I don't even necessarily think...
A win tonight will really build up some momentum for us.
At the same time, I'd like to see Millwall and Hull both go on a bad run to really open things up in the playoffs.
To be fair, I don't think I've ever criticised the new ownership group. Other than being very sceptical about the Matos appointment which to be fair, most people were.
Thank you.
The funny thing is I wasn't criticising - I was just passing on what I have heard about tickets for the game and what several others on here have also confirmed - that they are giving away a fairly large number of free tickets for the game. I only bothered to mention it after...
I've spoken to at least half a dozen people from different kids football clubs across different age groups who have been given/offered free tickets for Tuesday night.
Either they're lying or happen to be among the chosen few. Or more likely we are giving a load away. Which do you think is more...
I've told you already that they've given them to local football clubs who then distribute them amongst the kids and parents. Pretty standard practice. It's what they often do when the women play at the stadium.
Can you show me how many tickets we've sold purely because Snoop Dogg is there??
It's not a conspiracy theory.
The whole Snoop thing hinges on social media reach, presumably to bring in better sponsorship. Therefore him coming has to look good on social media.
Tell me when the last time was the club gave away free tickets to the extent they have been for this game. And...
So you think we've filled the stadium because a famous bloke will be there too?
If we are giving away tickets to all the local football clubs, all age groups, just how many do you think that is?
