• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Been trying all day. No response. I think the phone lines may be closed.

The official site suggests there may be tickets available for the away end on the day. Anyone know if that is the case?

It’s not that long since Fulton coming on would have drawn boos. Matos’ ability to get the best out of his players is outstanding.

Actually our points per game over the past six matches is 2. If we kept that up we'd end the season on 73. Norwich are fifth in the form table for their last five games. I wouldn't count them out yet (as nailed on for relegation, I mean).

Apologies, I should have double checked my figures before posting that we are 6th in the form table. I'm afraid that wasn't correct. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

True. But we would still be 7 points above the relegation places and 9 points below the play-offs.

Now in 6th place in the form table with 9 from 5. If we kept this up til the end of the season we’d be on 69 points. Which was play-off standard last season. To be clear, I am not saying that we are play-off quality (not now, at any rate). But the turn-around under Matos has been impressive and...

I was actually impressed that Fulton obviously put the least effort of all of them into doing something interesting when he had his photo taken. Fair play to him. Reverse psychology or hiding in plain sight?

I'd love to see Idah and Vipotnik play alongside each other, and the back four pick themselves. Who would you have in MF?

We are currently 11th in the form table, despite the loss to Coventry. If we continue in that form for the rest of this season, we would end up one point behind where we finished last time and in the same league position - 11th. Personally I think our form will actually improve here on in...

Great exhibition. I particularly liked the 'This is all you get' sign by the exit.

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

I still think my idea has legs. Three CBs (Cabango, Burgess, Casey), Tymon at left WB and Galbraith at right, Stamenich and Franco in central MF, and play around with combinations of Widell, Eom, Ronald, Inoussa, Yalcouye, Idah, Cullen, Vipotnik and Wales in the remaining three places. Not...

Agree with all of that, although I'd add that we are still too ponderous in our build-up play, IMO. And getting in a decent dead ball specialist would be my number one wish for the transfer window.

The incessant rain in Swansea keeps the ball down. We are at an inherent disadvantage when we play in England.

Good substitutions by Matos. We have been far better as a result.

Swansea’s Ownership Update: Not a Grand Manifesto, But a Clear Hint About January

I agree - excellent article about a first-class statement from the owners. Hit all the right notes for me. I won't sweat if we have a quiet January window as long as we address the obvious issues with some of our squad - I'm convinced the potential is there if we can realise it. Merry Christmas...
