    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Yeah, not a naturally attacking midfield. Louza is often a handful in the midfield, so maybe they’ll cut him off. Fk knows. We’ll soon find out.

    Really? That doesn’t sound like us 🤣 Same old, same old. At lest we know the problem. We’ve no problem getting into decent positions, so mostly we’re doing the right things. We just don’t have the players to make the most of them.

    That’s the problem, we need better players. It’s that simple. Some of these would be (and have been) fine in a team surrounded by better players, but we’ve got too few who can pull the team up by themselves.

    We miss Widell linking the midfield and attack. Cullen only links them by pointing between the two.

    It’s almost as if he’s a midfielder isn’t it. It’s criminal that we didn’t get a starting RB in this window.

    Plenty of room down at St Helens 😁 It is a good position for away fans. Fair play to Brum for bringing plenty too. It wouldn’t be so bad if we had a full and vocal south stand.

    That’s where the goals should be coming from. Done. Next? 😂 In all seriousness, our ‘forwards’ can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo. Given we play with width, it amazes me that we’ve stuck with wingers who have very little end product. I like Eom; he’s got something about him and can open up...

    Laudrup got it right. Mind you, it may have contributed to him losing his job when he could get the team up and ready for the UEFA Cup but not the league. But I liked that he went all-out to win in the Cups.

    Not well stocked enough to prevent our best midfielder having to play there. We needed someone (but yes, we also need a new right winger and no 10). Whether Ward’s lack of football means he turns out to be the new Bolasie and a waste of a signing, we’ll have to see.

    “Ohh Fulton, poor control under no pressure. Goes out for a throw”. Not singling him out, but that’s just us. We need a few better players. I hope Matos is in the owners’ ears, despite them saying they expect a quiet window.

    It could be a worry. He’s been making great saves all season, so I assume teams have noticed.

    We struggle with decision making and execution. It’s down to quality and we’d obviously do better with better players, but you can’t fault their work rate.

    This is where the poor and thin squad really hurts. No second RB. A reserve winger he won’t use /is probably going back. A backup striker we won’t use. We’ve got to get better at recruitment. To hear the owner say they want a quiet Jan shows to me they have no idea how many upgrades we need...

    It’s making my head hurt. Have we got illness in the camp? I’ve been off socials and news for a few days, so have no idea about any background leading into this one.
