• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

It’s not just the fixtures it’s the order they come in that’s daunting, I don’t remember an end of season schedule as tough as this one. Again I don’t think we’ll get sucked in but you never know, predictions of 15-18 points from our last eleven games is way off the mark in my opinion.

I’ve already said that I don’t think we’re going to go down, but, the remaining fixtures are incredibly tough, a real litmus test for Matos, we could easily end the season on a low by losing the majority of those games and that would bring all sorts of problems. Surprising how quickly fans and...

We have eleven games left, looking at the fixtures I would say Stoke and Charlton are our best bets for gettIng those two wins, our away form is pretty awful so I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get much from those especially as all our opponents are fighting for something. Let’s see what...

You’re predicting that we’ll take almost half or more than half of the remaining points on offer…not going to happen especially when you look at the schedule and the amount of effort and energy expended in every match, do I think we’ll go down?..no, but it’s not going to be a cakewalk.

I think we have one away win under Matos, the majority of his points have come at home and our remaining home games look pretty challenging, we’re going to need a remarkable turnaround in our away form to get anywhere near the 15-18 points you reckon. If we pick up 10 from our remaining...

Mate, have a look at the table, all those sides will be playing for something.

Wrexham, Portsmouth, Sheff Utd, Norwich, Leicester QPR, all teams who will playing for something and fixtures where historically we haven’t done very well, nowhere near eighteen points from those and our home fixtures.

Looking at our remaining fixtures I might have been a bit premature by saying we’re safe. Real test for Matos and the team, some real tough away games and apart from Charlton all the other fixtures at home look a real challenge, interesting times me thinks.

    Colours Nailed and all that

Listen I’ve got a great idea for recruiting the players required to play the football Matos wants. We should send someone from the club down to Tenby for the Iron Man Wales competition and offer the top twenty finishers a contract, that’ll sort the stamina issues out.

What sort of name is Dilwyn for a dog anyway, what happened to Rex, Butch or Lassie, the world has gone mad mun, can’t imagine anyone shedding a tear watching a film where Dilwyn was the dog in it.

Not one for using expletives but FFS some are going way off track regarding my OP. Tell me where I said we should be getting rid of the manager, I’m merely pointing out the shortcomings as I see them. Ask Southampton or Norwich fans if they had a poor squad of players, I’m pretty sure they’d...
