Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Problem with Anus and his deluded followers is that they can’t see past Sam. I mean this is the guy who was going to sue the club not for money owed to him through loans, but for the terms and conditions of his presidency there! This is the guy who almost bankrupted the club. Compare that to Tan...
Hopefully this’ll reach out to wider audiences world wide. This could only be good for improving revenue, hence increasing our turnover allowing us not to breach any Financial fair play rules.
This ownership group are really ticking all the boxes.
In terms of how far we can now go, what’s the...
I wonder deep down if he regrets leaving us. I suppose at the time we were nailed on to go down, and Bolton were an established Premier League club. Same with Dorus. Both ended up getting relegated.
I reckon between 1st and 24th! But I’m gonna take a punt and say 5th.
There’s no one really outstanding side, the three relegated sides won’t have it their way at all, so I think this league is the most even it’s been in a long time when you also factor the teams coming up, maybe barring...
I know we’re tied in with Joma, who to be fair imho have made better quality merchandise than adidas.
But I’d love us to go with Hummel further down the line.
Some of their designs are superb.
Was the captain when I first started watching the Swans under Tommy H then Yorath.
He seemed like a CB years ahead of his time as Dudley could also play too, whereas back then centre backs were of your no nonsense type.
RIP and condolences to his family.
In the past we’ve been guilty of buying last minute, then managers saying that said new signing needs ten games to bed in.
We need to be ready from the off, and hopefully we will be.
Has it returned to the club? We seem to be more proactive in the market, new owners are also trying to build bridges with the supporters.
Coupled with good performances from the team under Sheehan can we ask…
Are the good times returning?
Me personally, I’m cautiously optimistic for the coming...
Given us 3 years of service, only one of which(the last) he’s really proved his worth. Don’t understand some fans resentment towards him. We’ve lost far better players and he for one isn’t them. Wish him well, we move on. At least this time we’ve been proactive rather than reactive and panic buy.
Yeah I don’t get that, but might’ve read or heard that some South Wales operators won’t touch the swans, because of unruly behaviour of some fans on the coaches. I could be wrong though.
If he’s being reasonable for an asking price, he’d generate interest for sure. I might’ve read or heard that he’s been asking for £200M(quote me if I’m wrong), which is just unrealistic. I’d say £30-£40M tops.
I’ve got a feeelimg come the end of the season, Burgess will have justified the move from the ipshit faithful. I’m confident we’ll have a better season than them.
Anyone remember the sky blue we had in 86/87? Only worn a few times, Northampton away I believe and maybe Wolves?
And the yellow 3rd from 89/90.
Two stunning tops
I have to say that it looks a stronger league, but a more competitive and even one if that’s possible! You’re not gonna have a Leeds or Burnley who were streets ahead of everyone. Even Sheff Utd won’t have a season like the one they’ve just had. We’ve got as good a chance as maybe 12-15 other...
