• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Ward will be fine, match fitness will come quickly, just watch him he know exactly what he's doing (compare that to Key)and his communication is top notch, you can see why he captained a premier league side.

N He didn't look blocked to me, he went under the ball and flapped at it. Poor goalkeeping

Casey looks a little rusty to me, not surprising considering how much playing time he gets.

    Joel Ward

    The lowest bar indeed

    Joel Ward

He definately looks in better nick than Cyrus Christie was last January

It will be interesting to see where he's at fitness wise, when Christie signed last year he was clearly overweight and never got fit. Ward maybe a naturally fit person or have kept himself fit and only need to get his match fitness together, he has been a premier league player for over a decade...

Same prinicple applies, they have to be good enough. Age shouldn't be a barrier to playing, if you good enough then your old enough.

But if I'm the manager of a club I'm not looking to use players who are not good enough and potentially losing my job because I don't win enough games. Matos is not the first manager to overlook Parker.

Would love him to do well and it's not great to see his struggles, but for me it 's been too long a period of decline and we need a new RB. The lack of competition at RB has probally contributed to his decline

I appreciate that we have signed lots worse than Key and I am being very harsh on him, but I just don't see a Championship calibre player in him.

The fact that Luke Williams compared him to Gareth Bale says a lot about WIlliams. I agree that WIlliams was terrible for Key, but I didn't think he was any good before Williams either.

not for me, he's had a shocker this season, was poor last season which at first I put down to Williams and his bizzare inverted fullbacks. Just hasn't ever done it for me and I rate him as one of 2 worst signings since we were relegated (the other is Barrie Mckay)

it's not nonsense just my opinion. He's been here for 2 1/2 years under numerous manangers and there has been very little evidence that he's about to fly, but if he does I'll be happy to say well done.

I'm not convinced about Ward, however is there any possibility he could be coming and also getting involved in the coaching side of things alongside replacing Santos in the playing squad.
