Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I think he ignores the simple passes, because he messes them up so often. At least if he tries a 50 yarder he should have time to get set in defence.
Very astute from him.
That made me laugh, Bradford calling somewhere else a dump. The best part of Bradford is Ilkley however it's not really in Bradford and uses a Leeds postcode.
As for the rest of Bradford it ranges from dump (the better places) to absolute sh$thole. However in this woke world we all live in...
Whilst I wouldn't write Idah off, the problem for me is that his scoring record other than at Celtic is not great and nothing he has shown at Swansea suggests it would be otherwise if he was first choice.
I have only really seen 1 performance from Idah this season that has made me think that...
Do you think Idah would score 20+ goals next season?
I don't, would be surprised if he scored 10 if he puayrd a full season. Therefore he's not an adequate replacement (imo)
My opinion is that we do need a RB. Whilst Key has shown signs of improvement, this is over a very small sample (and mostly coming on against tired legs).
I dont see the answer at RB being Key, he just isn't up to it defensively and that has caused Cabango so many problems this season.
Ronald just frustrates when on the ball. Prime example his the tendency to run right into the player rather than knock the ball past the player (basically invites the player to win the ball), I can't understand why he keeps doing this!!
Back from the game and not gone through the posts but here's my take on the game.
Firstly I really enjoyed the game and a draw was a fair result.
I thought the Swansea started really well and controlled the ball really well in the early stages, Widdell seemed a real threat down the left and...
Looking forward to the game today, I don't get to as many live games as I would like but Sheffield is just half an hour down the M1 for me.
They have had a really strange season, you would have expected them to be challenging for the playoff at least if not automatic promotion, but it hasn't...
I agree our CB's are solid, but we need more from them.
Also the fact that there is zero pressure on their place in the team doesn't help. We need proper competition for places.
That is true the longer he is here the more ready he will be to play, however right now others are more ready than he is.
He has just completed his last season on November and is effectively going through a pre-season (with a group that isn't doing a pre-season).
Also it is possible for the...
Why has he lost faith?!
He didn't use him from the bench for a couple of games, maybe Matos feels he's not quite ready to be starting games just yet and those games against Stoke and Portsmouth he felt there were better options than Walta.
To me Walta looks like he's got a lot of skill, but he...
I disagree, Matos is utlising the squad at his disposal and is doing what he should playing the players he thinks can do a the job required in the moment.
He will play them when he thinks the time is right. It's more worrying for Widdell (I think Walta is being introduced bit by bit) who seems...
I don't think they will.
If the table finished as it currently is Ipswich would be the likely playoff winners and I also think Millwall would out muscle and out fight Wrexham.
I think Coventry, Boro and Ipswich will go up this season and outside of those 3 it would be Southampton for me
Widdell isn't being used correctly at the moment, he was looking promising when played centrally and is less effective when wider.
I like Widdell and his energy can set a good tempo, I would like to see Galbraith, Franco and Widdell as the 3 starters in midfield.
