• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I thought EOM was OK 1st half (should have scored though) much better than Ronald.

Three changes, nice to see Matos being proactive. Let's hope it has the desired effect.

    Matos appreciation thread

The problem isn't the wingers, it's the way they are coached. There has been an obession for years for cutting inside and using the fullback to overlap which is OK at times but when the coaches and players are limited it becomes all that they do. It happens all over the pitch coaches all copy...

100% Widdell's goals and assist stats are woeful, but his importance to the current style of play is crucial (and no one else can do it as well). Rodri won the Ballon'dor but he don't score too often

Today for me whilst not the most fluent performance was a great result and there were more positives than negatives. The two things that stood out for me were Walta's cameo which I thought was excellant. But more importantly was the way Matos was with the players on the pitch after the final...

    Coventry v Middlesbrough

Two of my favourite ex-swans doing what the do best. Mr Grimes trotting around doing the sum of f$ck all. Mr Whitaker offering nothing off the ball as per usual

I second that always been an arrogant prick, the kind of manager you love to hate

We must sign Tranzit at all cost, there has been a fantastic pedigree in that family that goes back to the 1960's with his granddad Mark 1

I don't blame the Labour government for the mess that this country is in, I do blame them for making it worse though. Subsequent governments have brought us to where we are today. And therin lies the problem, whoever forms the next government will most likely continue in the same vein as...

How long have they run that council and are they bankrupt because of Reform? I doubt any council facing a section 114 notice is just because of what has happened since the last elections in May 2025, What Reform have inherited will have been a mess (most councils are in a mess) they may or may...

    Cam Burgess

Burgess is decent enough, but that's the problem we need more than decent enough. We need more pace at CB and Burgress for a big lad isn't physical enough for me.

    Cam Burgess

I thought Burgess was at fault for the 2nd Derby goal, whilst Cabango was up against the player more in open play at that corner Burgess was the nearest Swan and he was not goal side and left him freeth, e Derby player didn't get free with any clever movement, he was just poorly marked.

Two corners delivered exactly the same way. This time poor from Stamenic, caught ball watching.
