• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Wrexham owners like the Muppet Show

I certainly wouldn't be and I don't think a majority of other fans would be. I think it's got to be up there with the most embarrassing thing sky has ever done personally. Why on earth would I want to listen to people who didn't even know the rules of football 2yrs ago. That was an opportunity...

We are and always will be a way away from them in terms of marketability. Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart have very dodgy pasts, they're not exactly someone who most companies would want to endorse them imo. Wrexham also benefitted from starting this journey in the National league where they...

    The Season’s Conclusion

Its a complete pipe dream that we'll be able to shift Burgess. He's got 2 years left on a very good wage and is 31yrs old. There is absolutely 0 incentive for him to leave unless a club as stupid as us offers him the exact same terms.

Hes not being introduced bit by bit anymore though. He was before the Preston game but after that Matos has lost all faith in him.

Exactly. If Matos wanted to use them he would. Instead he's resorted to bringing an on loan Yalcoue who will be gone in 3 months over them both. I think the message is clear from Matos but some fans would just rather live in blind faith.

He needs to be bedded in but the manager is not bringing him on? The manager doesn't rate him he's made that pretty clear when he hooked him at HT, then sat him on the bench twice for the full game. He brought 4 attackers over him today in a game we needed to score? How clearer can the...

Im yet to see anything from Walta which gives me any sort of hope to be brutally honest. Matos seems to think the same aswell which is worrying.

The fact that we still have Reviva for "atleast" another season as our front the shirt sponsor probably will disappoint them more aswell.

Its not a front of the shirt sponsor. We have Reviva for "at least" one more season.

6 Clubs in the Play-Offs from Next Season 2026/27

Nostalgia bias plays a huge role in these debates aswell. People remember the best moments from older football and compare them to the average games of today. In 10 years time we'll all look back and say how enjoyable this era of football was too. Part of the reason why that 1981 team looked so...

6 Clubs in the Play-Offs from Next Season 2026/27

Football has got exponentially better compared to back then. I'd safely say that our current side would beat that 1981 team and pretty comfortably aswell. Everybody is fitter, stronger, more disciplined, more technical and the tactical side of football has evolved to a level that the teams and...

Think he was just signaling to play on not advantage. I'm yet to watch it back but in real time it looked a bit soft.

There was no need to have Franco and Stamenic on in the 2nd half. Stoke had 0 attacking threat and we needed that extra impetus (Widell/Yalcoue) from the midfield to drive us forward quickly. Eom and Tymon were playing excellently down the left hand side they were causing Stoke so many...

I gave Matos his flowers for his changes against Preston but my god his changes today was atrocious. He tried throwing that match away.

    Zan Vipotnik

Part of the reason (yes our wingers being absolutely awful is the largest part) we dont create alot or chances is because Vips movement in the box is terrible.

Because hes significantly over valued/rated. Cash in and reinvest the money.

    Colours Nailed and all that

Oh no I definitely see us still persisting with this 4-3-3 next season. It's just a personal hunch that I feel like the winger position will slowly be phased out outside of the elite clubs so I'm just hoping we jump on the train early. Also watching these wingers every week as made me want to...
