• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It’s not a derby even slightly. Nowhere near as much as Bristol.

But at the start of the season, we launched our kit by shouting out to Wrexham.

It’s about trying to get some of their reach, which is what it is, but we can’t then moan that others are trying to link the two clubs.
Rubbish!!

Fair, but how was our kit calling Wrexham out? Not having a go Lisa, I've probably missed something.

Im yet to see anything from Walta which gives me any sort of hope to be brutally honest.

Matos seems to think the same aswell which is worrying.
He came at the end of Jan having not played since November, that’s when the pre season started for him. And this league is a whole different story. We can’t Judge anything from him this Season.

We do need to give him some game time this season though.

Hang on now!
Walta is a young chap in a new country, he was on his off season when he joined us.
He has no experience in British football and can't be judged on this alone after 6 weeks.

He needs to be bedded in but we now have 8 games to do that.
I will also say, if Yalcouye isn't going to be here next season then it's time to use him less between now and the end of the season.
He needs to be bedded in but the manager is not bringing him on?

The manager doesn't rate him he's made that pretty clear when he hooked him at HT, then sat him on the bench twice for the full game.

He brought 4 attackers over him today in a game we needed to score? How clearer can the messages get?

I like Yalcouye, but your right. Give Walta more time to get used to things. I just don't get some fans. Imagine being young, being in a country that is not your first language and thrown into a environment where English is the first language. Adding into it the work place being the 2nd most difficult league. Hindsight some people.

Yes!

This is my main priority with Walta and Widell. If they are expected to be key to next season they need to be given time between now and the summer to play some serious minutes.

They have become America’s Soccer club, it’s a powerful thing for them. I can’t say I have too much jealousy or envy, if it were Cardiff then that’s a totally different story.
I don’t mind at all if they go up. It’s about time they had something to shout about.

And I think the efforts their owners have put into making sure the whole area is improved as well as the club is laudable. They seem quite genuinely invested in the widest possible sense.
