Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
So we've played a third of the season & our manager appears to have no idea what his best 11 is.
We're creating very few chances game in, game out.
After the various substitutions today we were an absolute shambles towards the end of the game.
Benson might not work out but I can absolutely see why we took a punt on him. He's shown he's got the ability in the past.
Whether it's lack of fitness and/or confidence he's been poor so far
This message board & other fan sites aren't a true representation of our fanbase really, I don't know what the age demographic on here is but I suspect we're mostly from the older end & remember the days of 4,000 crowds at the Vetch.!!
Social media users are likely to be younger & shout louder...
The sack the manager wheel only to remain in roughly the same position is a pattern that most clubs at our level repeat, Stoke, Preston, Blackburn, etc
Sticking with the manager is fine in principle but only as long as you're convinced he's the right one.
When the division is as closely...
We're basically repeating last season, would I get rid of Sheehan now? No, but I can understand why many would.
You've mentioned the run of results in January which led to Williams sacking but the Portsmouth result in January was the first game of last season where we lost by more than 1 goal...
Definitely feels like 2 points dropped, he'll freshen it up for Wednesday so hopefully that'll mean starts for Widell & Inoussa.
Francos injury looked like a clash of knees but he seemed to be moving OK so precautionary I guess.
I agree with that, incompetent rather than biased generally.
Did you see the one in the Boro game where the opposition keeper took a swipe at the ball, missed it & clearly kicked the striker? The most obvious penalty you'll ever see but the ref didn't give it 🤷♂️
So what's your solution for those of us who haven't got off road parking?
I'm in the fortunate position of being able to afford a new car but an EV just isn't practical.
Agreed, I've got an Octavia vrs which weighs about 1450kg, the electric SUV equivalent is the Enyaq Coupe vrs which is around 2250kg - that's 50% heavier!!
Electric vehicles aren't necessarily an issue but bloated SUV's are.
