Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
We needed someone last night who was working hard off the ball and could get in to good positions to release Idah or Vip. Forget the hype about Brighton, he can play. That lad can turn on a sixpence which I have seen a number of times which is why I would have him in games where we are playing 3...
We have got a good squad. Team selection and tactics does raise my eyebrows but some of the subs are barking mad. If it isn't working you don't continue to do it hoping it will work.
We were unlucky last night and done again by the ref. Ronald was pulled over in the area and that was as 100%...
Ive just heard that there is a strange plan for those in charge to merge Swansea and Cardiff. Same comments on how the Dragons will survive this is galling. Ive no wish for the Scarlets to be buried either. How first class rugby and cricket will disappear in Wales second city thanks to...
As we've pointed out, there was a bigger vote for left of centre parties than Right. There is no PC in England and this could be the biggest opportunity for the Libs for 4 generations. If you were at the Labour training camps, there is a large amount of backslapping over the hard work done -...
As my core beliefs are aligned with Labour I am disappointed for the party but it is far from surprising and also being involved with the party training over the last few months it has been waiting for the car crash (and not at 20 mph). I don't know if Labour will "wake up" from this as the...
I think we do.
The linesman certainly helped the ref and he made a very quick decision. I looked at the replay and it looked like Cook was putting his head down in a way that looked like he was going to push his head in to Yalcouhe. Yalcouhe took step forward and the rest is history. For me...
Are there any other close up angles of the penalty/sending off incident. I have been looking at the replay and that Cook set him up a beauty. Was it a penalty? Should Cook have been cautioned?
yalcouhe was giving us options but his reaction was f'ing amateur and costly. Three points thrown away. It made me initially react to suggest he can eff off back to Brighton pronto
I was glad the final whistle went though we seemed to be the better team in time added on and Casey made a difference.
I'm not sure why Sheehan left Stamenic on for so long with a red card hanging over him and Swansea would have collapsed with 10 men. Taking Inoussa off and leaving Ronald on...
My dad's first cousin (and the rest of the family) live in Auckland. He has sent me some great pictures of the place and it is crazy how many volcanoes are there.
Baron Goblet.
I have mentioned in the ancestry thread about finding out I have relatives on my dad's side, who live in Auckland NZ and now having regular messages.
I have found out so much about the place in the last few months despite having cousin's who were born out there on the South Island.
