Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
As I said I hope he signs with us, I rate him. Chanting to encourage him to stay before the holdout though, wouldn’t read that so literally as to fans views tbf
I’d say mid to lower championship is our level when you factor in the size of Swansea itself and a proper catchment area going as far west as Pembrokeshire and as east as Aberdare etc. Let’s not forget we got to the top flight in the eighties and almost bloody won the thing, have won the league...
I’m hating waiting for this even if it’s to find out he’s moving on. Can’t blame him tying to maximise his earnings and/or career potential although it has now resulted in a bit of an uncomfortable relationship with the fans. However, I really hope he stays with us I don’t think our fanbase...
Haven’t they averaged out at L1 level over their history? Could swear I heard or read that from their fans or maybe even on the documentary. Wrexham is tiny and I question the potential in north Wales, again that’s hardly a populous region and has always been a Liverpool and Man U heartland...
Have we ever given a club this much attention before? I don’t think Cardiff have garnered this much focus from us over the years if one were to put it in proportion/context. Cringe tbf
Watched some of their game against Lincoln. The standard in that league is a lot lower than the championship so they will have to go out and get almost a new team in.
I wouldn’t want us to sign any of them either. Something to be said for not buying players fresh out of a calamity failure of a season particularly given their inflated wages
Can’t wait to take six points off them. The arrogance of their fans is a tad odd given where they were not long ago. One team in Wales and it’s us. Any love-in from Swansea to them is strange and don’t say I didn’t tell you so when we actually come to play them
I hope he gets it. Results have picked up, the football has been more positive and exciting to watch, he knows the club and it’s less of a risk than going to the market and rolling the dice again. When the captain is expressing desire for him to get a job that speaks some. We are on a bit of a...
Wow just catching up. Crikey. I suppose as an English Jack I shouldn’t be so welcomed here. If I was a Liverpool first and Swansea second fan maybe I’d be far more welcome. Odd
