    Farmergeddon

It’s only 70,000 if every possible farm changes hands in the near future and only if they don’t take simple measures to avoid paying inheritance tax. A farm would need to be worth over £3M to attract inheritance tax and then at 20% which is half the normal rate. The BBC claimed that for the last...

    Homelessness in Wales

To be fair, the volunteers manning many shelters could do without the violence that often comes hand in hand with drugs and alcohol. It can be very upsetting when you're not being paid for being threatened and assaulted. There's a balance to be found somewhere.

    Homelessness in Wales

There may be many reasons why people don't take up a place in a shelter when offered. Some have a no dogs rule, most have a no alcohol or drugs rule and people must not be under the influence of anything when entering the shelter in the evening. Lots can't or won't abide by those rules.

    Homelessness in Wales

We used to volunteer at Swansea nightshelter pre covid. It offered shelter during January and February. The circumstances for those on the streets are all different and varied. A frightening number were young people fleeing abuse of various types at what once was their home.

    Gigs ‘25

It's awful. Both legs in pain after an hour or so. You're so lucky to have half my pain 😉.

    Gigs ‘25

It’s not a great venue. The acoustics are terrible but I’ve seen some great gigs there over many years. At 68 now, I try to get on the balcony because the view is great and I can’t do standing at gigs any more.

    Wales v Australia

To be fair to Australia they've gone easy on us by only picking players called Santos.

    Wales v Australia

I'm sure they'll sack Gatland but I'm also sure that it'll make no difference. We need bigger, stronger and faster players and we haven't got any. I blame the Swans for getting into the Premier league 13 years ago and turning a generation of boys from rugby to football.

We're playing well in parts and 13 unanswered points is something to build on.

    The Love For Mike Tyson

On the "boxing" match itself, the sport is bringing itself into disrepute by allowing this circus. Just when you thought boxing couldn't sink any lower it finds a way.

Sack Race, Russell Martin, Steve Cooper, Erik ten Hag 🤔

Forest have been going very well since they ditched Cooper. A decision that was hammered by the unknowing national press.

    James McClean (again)

I've been there but nobody called it Free Derry Clasie?
