Transfer latest: Swans are monitoring the situation on Millwall striker?

Good god. We’re screwed aren’t we?

    Jamal

He was fine in a team, but looked well out of place last year with our collection of individuals. Certainly not worth pursuing based on that.

Transfer latest: Have the Swans cooled on Notts County striker?

Yates out on loan seems the more interesting bit in Phil’s article. Bonkers if so. Another one bought in error and then we can’t offload other than by a loan. We’ll get nothing back from the terrible window last season. Every bit of news that comes out further reinforces the idea that we haven’t...

    9:30am Tomorrow Morning 🤷🏻‍♂️

Black one is nice. I get fed up with the number of black away kits we see down the stadium, but that’s pretty much a black out one which looks ok. Make the most of today, it could be the high point of the season 🤣

Reason The Swans keep issuing new shares

Ah, yes I’m with you now. It becomes an issue when they look to sell. If they’re looking to recoup their losses, it makes us far less attractive to sell on. If they’re happy to absorb the debt, then fine. We’ve no idea how that will go though and yes, we’re certainly not sustainable. Not exactly...

Reason The Swans keep issuing new shares

I’m not sure the article is that wrong. To me, the share issues look just as Maguire says: owner financing to cover the debts. Far better that than borrowing and risking the debts being called in. Maybe I’m miles off, but I can’t see what else it would be. We’re certainly not going on a spending...

    New Wales manager?

He’s very famous. Sorry, was very famous.

    The Euro 2024 Thread

That was a bit of a fluke. He didn’t play a lot of football or do much after he left us. I don’t think he’d done much before he joined us either. That was an odd signing.

    Nathan Madeofwood

You could be right, but I don’t see it. Compare him to someone like Guehi, who was at least 2 years younger when he was with us. Guehi was utter class and stood out a mile. That’s the benchmark for a top player.

Yes that was an unexpected extra bump by a bot.

Ah right, so slaves then. Good idea, it’s about time we brought that back. Plenty more people to pillage these days as well. (I’m a numpty so let an IFA handle it)

    Marge has signed an extension

we just need to get Homer now and we'll be sorted. Good news this. As much as the jury is still out on Luke, it can only be a good thing to have well respected coaches around him. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/martyn-margetson-extends-swansea-city-contract

    Is Global warming a thing?

It was warm in May. We’re now in June though. That’s a different month.

They should have given it to Osian Roberts after Giggs. Not that anyone’s going to do much with this bunch of players.

I couldn’t care less either way, but what a stupid and pointless couple of games.

    General Election ...

And we should know about reversals as we had to watch Martin’s team for 2 years 🤣

    General Election ...

Yep. I suspect there will only be some minor changes on the main arterial roads out of cities/large towns. I’d have thought they have to leave it in place for at least a couple of years to get enough data to assess if it’s reduced casualties as hoped. If it has, by any amount, it’s surely a good...

    General Election ...

It’s surprising how many people don’t realise this. The Barnett formula calculates the allowances for the devolved nations relative to the planned expenditure in England via Westminster. So if budgets are cut in actual or real terms in England, that’s passed on to us too. And we don’t have the...

Swansea City compensation battle with Southampton continues as claims emerge

It does seem that we were blindsided again. Much like them falling for Jenkins’ sales pitch in the first place. Naive is a word that springs to mind, but that might not be completely fair as we never see the whole picture.
