French winger Bianchini on verge of move?

No one can argue that Coleman and co aren’t learning the lessons of the past. This window has been as good as we could have hoped for realistically, considering our budget

    Roger Freestone & Mike Hughes

Penalty taker too at one point - 3 goals for the Swans lol

    Eastern cousins

How they start the game will be the barometer- will their professional pride be injured and so come out all guns blazing or will they be feeling sorry for themselves which will mean an easy win for us? The Derby is always unpredictable so I’m not counting any chickens but if we play at the level...

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

I think the malaise is more to do with our very slow build up play but yesterday was a stark contrast. The attendances will pick up quickly, especially if we win well next Sunday .

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough FC vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Grimes is the same type of guy as the lazy boy in the factory who when given a job buggers it up so he can go and hide or sweep up instead. He’s the captain and he doesn’t deserve to be on the pitch let alone be captain. When you think of all the lauds he gets but wouldn’t be for to lace Leon...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough FC vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

He’s got no pace and it’s not something a player can gain. His level is league 1

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough FC vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

I thought WTF is he doing but he completely closed down the attacking player completely obliterating his sight of goal. If that is the case good keeping

Will Swans fight against Sheffield United and Blackburn for favourite?

Of course you’re right - it might be down to which team will be fighting for promotion which is more likely Sheffield United

Will Swans fight against Sheffield United and Blackburn for favourite?

We should fight tooth and nail for him. Hopefully his experiences last season will hopefully persuade him to give us another go. Of course the money on offer elsewhere might be a bit too tempting but we can hope

Swans in talks to sign Tyrese Campbell - Is former Stoke City man set for SA1?

Seems more of a packet and aggressive player than Cullen who could play LW or 10. No brainer

    Summer 2024 Transfer Rumours

I wonder where he would fit in - surely not on the wings with Eom and Ronald there. Behind the striker maybe??

South Wales Derby tickets on the morrow

I can, the notorious away game in the fourth where one of our fans was on the Bob bank and their fans went after him , flattening a police officer at the time who proceeded to get up and clobber them with his truncheon. 1988/89 maybe?

Hibernian return for Mykola as last summer continues to unwind

That’s a very good point - and which should be tempered by the fact that Duff might have felt a twinge of pressure to play the big buy Jerry Yates who didn’t fit this style of play either. With Yates the feeling might have been “he has to come good some time” but never really did. If Mykola was...

    Swedish midfielder eyed by Swans

Recruitment is now hitting the right spots. Like you say better value than has been Bristol City rejects , young and potential great resale value. I’m well pleased

Grimes emerges as target for Sheffield United

Coughlan and Cornforth weren’t PL quality either but they wore their hearts on their sleeves as players.

Grimes emerges as target for Sheffield United

Wow, I know he can pull of the odd good forward pass but very few and far between. Hanging around the back four and rarely venturing over the halfway line doesn’t equate to “assuming a vast amount of defensive responsibility”

Grimes emerges as target for Sheffield United

He was never going to miss a game as captain. He keeps himself out of harms way for the most part - for me he does very little in some games and is average for the most part. It’s why Downes went for 12 million and nobody wanted captain fantastic grimes even on a free.
