    We have had a lot of possession in their half. Grimes has been 10 yards inside their half and been our deepest player at the same time. Trouble is we’re so rigidly locked in shape that when we squeeze up Key and Eom can’t get out from under each other’s feet.

    Looking rusty. Key and Tymon both caught trying to turn towards our own keeper when the easy thing to do would be to play it forward. Keeper looks a hoot too.

    I hoped Ronald and Van would start. Must be fit to be on the bench. Start with your strongest. Expecting them to change things if we’re in a bad situation is defeatist mentality.

    Or not? 24-25 season. I always think we’ll win every game before thudding down to earth with a feeling that we’re so much better than our last few managers have shown. This season my expectations have been curbed, but I’m still cautiously confident of a top half finish and a little flirt...

    I know this thread is about the 20mph speed limits so apologies for going off topic….. I’ve nothing particular against Drakeford and could care less about 20mph limits, but why can’t these people just go quietly? He’s had his time, surely his calling to serve is not that strong.
