• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The biggest positive is that we are only 1 down.
Could sub half that side and none would have any complaints

One soft penalty in it at halftime. Don’t think we’ll see any changes until about 70 mins.

They aren’t very good either. If we calm down, and get Fulton off the pitch and a proper shape, this will be 1-1.

If we carry on as we are 3-0.

Sky Sports + have just put some stats up at half time and they reckon we've had 60% possession.

They also reckon we've had 70% of our passes in the final third.

I'd love to try whatever they're smoking. Absolutely no fecking chance.

We need Ronald and Vipotnik on well before 70 minutes. What a stupid penalty to give away, I was livid. Boro are muscular but not much else, if we show some courage, we could come away with at least a point.
Eom is looking promising. Cullen ought to have equalised, where's his striker instinct? trying to pass it sideways when a firm toe poke could have seen us back on terms.

Just not showing the courage atm. I am absolutely certain that it is down to coaching. It’s modern football, we’ve seen it at the Euros and we’ve had it here for several seasons. We need to move the ball forward quicker and if the players don’t have that ability they shouldn’t be playing at this level.

We have had a lot of possession in their half. Grimes has been 10 yards inside their half and been our deepest player at the same time. Trouble is we’re so rigidly locked in shape that when we squeeze up Key and Eom can’t get out from under each other’s feet.

Boro are not great shakes, they are having joy down our channels because our full backs are to far up the pitch....its causing our centre halves to split.
If they are planning this then someone like Franco should be sitting because he has more energy that Grimes to drop back in.

Cullen shit out with that chance. Either put yer foot through it or draw the pen.
Not hard really.

Eom has put a couple of lovely crosses in that Cullen just seems to not have the instinct to attack the ball.
I still think we need another striker through the door because Cullen is not a out and out striker but more a player to play off a more physically no 9.
