Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Sheffield United vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

That was a brilliant day. I also had the train up from London. Could have been on the same train? 😂 I Went to the pub by the railway station and it was full of Jacks. Met up with a couple of mates who had gone up on the Supporter’s coaches. We were in the upper tier and the atmosphere was...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Bristol City | The EFL Championship

I don’t remember us losing a match because of frozen steps, but at a guess everything was frozen the night of that Gillingham match because it was so cold. The Chelsea match in the League Cup was also a tricky one with snow and ice.

No the pitch was frozen for the Gillingham match. There wasn’t any undersoil heating. It was laid in the summer of 2006. And there was no running water for the Ospreys match.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Bristol City | The EFL Championship

I remember the Ospreys v Scarlets match was postponed on Boxing Day one year at the Swansea.com Stadium because of frozen pipes. The Scarlets players all went out drinking, but unknown to them it was rearranged for the next day. They got hammered both on and off the pitch. 😂 The Swans game...

I can’t see that happening. Strong winds and rain, but nothing severe enough to put the game in doubt. I have been looking at my seaweed.

I agree 👍🏼😃 No worries. Yes absolutely the North West Corner should have definitely been made available to Bristol City. If it was an FA Cup match they would be able to have both corners to get up to the 15%. The extra revenue would be a help to the club. It would also help to generate an even...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Bristol City | The EFL Championship

I’m not disagreeing with your prediction of 17,000 and there could be 1,500 still available in the North West and the Northern end of the West combined. I was just stating facts that the North West Corner holds around 700 people and if it was allocated to Bristol City that is the amount of extra...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Bristol City | The EFL Championship

The North West Corner holds roughly around 700 to 800, not 1,500! The North East Corner holds roughly around 700 to 800. 2,100 in the Centre part, without any segregation matting In total the North Stand holds approximately 3,600. The North West Corner could definitely have been sold to...
