    Your first derby and best derby memories

    First derby for me was Easter Monday 1987. We beat them 2-0 at the Vetch after we’d lost the previous five league matches under Yorath. Best has got to be the 2-1 FA cup win in nov 91, also down the Vetch.

    Absolutely awful. Can’t do the basics. We will always struggle if we persist with three at tge back. Midfield was overrun. Drop a centre back and put a midfielder in!

    Leeds fans have delusions

    Thinking the signing of Piroe is going to propel them to promotion! What I’ve seen from their three games so far, not a chance in all mighty. I know we’ve not been firing atm, and the argument is they’ll come good eventually, just like hoping we will, but he won’t be the answer to their wishes.

    The most obvious choice being drop a centre back and revert to a back four. The guy oozed class when he came on yesterday.

    Owls v Saints

    Sky drooling over saints. Personally can’t see the fuss, Wednesday were poor and didn’t offer a threat of any sort. Saints will soon get sussed when they come up against a half decent side who press them into errors. Got to love a Russ fist pump though..NOT

    Say the protracted move to Saints falls through, what’s everyone’s thoughts on Russ leading us into the 23/24 season? If he’s verbally agreed to go there, as has been reported, is there no coming back for him?

    Remember it like yesterday. Place was bouncing but what was eerie was the silence just after Hull went 2-1 up. Those players shouldn’t be forgotten, if we’d have lost our league status, where would we have ended up?

    Really good interview on said podcast. Didn’t realise he had a big gambling and drinking problem Said he lost £250K betting over a weekend early on in his career, when he was in £60k a week.

    If only..

    We held out against Millwall home, Stoke away, Brum away( all draws from winning positions), Sheff Utd home, Brum home( last minute winners for them). Couple that with only 3 wins in something like 22, we should’ve been much better off with regards to points on the board and in the play offs.
