The funny thing is we were so spoilt for a long time with strikers, starting really with Jason Scotland, that we’ve forgotten how difficult it is to find a good one. We had awful strikers for season after season in the past and are going through a stage of doing so again now.

I think Vipotnik is bang average in the way Newhouse was bang average…

"There was no contact" - Williams clear on West Brom situation

Who knows what has happened, but his two interviews kicking all this off didn’t exactly close the door on a move if one had been made available to him. It obviously wasn’t made available, hence the statements of the past few days. I don’t imagine many supporters are too concerned either way to...

not sure I’m being overly harsh. Our entire game plan involves giving him the ball at least 30 times a game. The fact he’s managed to do something with it once every 120 attempts is not exactly inspiring. Don’t disagree with the rest.

Not bad? He has absolutely no end product whatsoever. If he wasn’t Brazilian, he’d get moaned at all game.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 WBA 1 | The EFL Championship

They were crap. They were still on top. As they were in the second half as well. We were very lucky to get a point from that. Not that I’m complaining - we’ve been unlucky on more than our fair share of occasions over the past few years. It just all a bit depressing for me. We just don’t seem...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 WBA 1 | The EFL Championship

This obsession with stats is killing us. The commentary on Swans TV is constantly quoting this sort of irrelevance as well. WBA were absolutely on top that half. Irrespective of what the stats say. Anyone who’s ever watched football can see that. We lack movement all over the pitch. No one is...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Portsmouth 4 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

Wow. That was dreadful. Missing Franco not only allowed Fulton to play (absolutely dreadful) but also showed quite how much Franco shields grimes. We are at the very at least one, probably two, central midfielders, one winger, one full back and one striker away from mounting any sort of...

    Gregg Wallace

The thing is, it’s not though is it. It’s men who may not themselves be a physical danger to women enabling those that are. If you were out with a bunch of male friends and one sexually harassed a woman I wouldn’t for one second trust you’d do anything about it.

The people who dislike a sexual predator or predatory behaviour are not one eyed feminists. And Gregg Wallace is a great example of the opportunities talentless ‘lads’ get a hundred times a day.

You said it in the post I replied to, And again here. Few things. Complaints were made at the time and ignored. It’s not the BBC - they don’t make Masterchef. ‘Saville and all his chums’ targeted children - little children. Not women. Enough of ‘em presenting’ do you only like to watch men...

‘Not sticking up for him but it’s the fault of the women’. Great take. Btw - there are complaints going back to 2012. Possibly further. And he’s still on screen. Which is why there are so many of these obnoxious sexist dickheads on TV (which is an answer to answer another of your ‘not sticking...

    Farmergeddon

There are two things that are adversely affecting farmers. One is the tax efficiency of land which has forced up land prices, taken huge swathes of land out of farmers’ hands and created an inbalance of agricultural land being farmed as opposed to being held for tax avoidance purposes. The...

once you realise that Lord Alli is at the forefront of demands for press reform in terms of both content and restrictions around ownership the current media witch-hunt makes sense.

He was the same on Wednesday as well. Against a league 1 team. It doesn’t bode well.

If we weren’t bringing one in, why did we loan one out yesterday? He can’t have been on anything other than low wages. It’s ludicrous.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | WBA v Swansea City | The EFL Championship

He is absolutely unable to control the ball at the moment. He looks like he has very slow feet so can’t get in position to control it. And one of the reasons we don’t play it to him as often as we might is because he is static, doesn’t attempt to find space and it’s impossible to play it to him...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | WBA v Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Just another appalling performance. Something needs to be done about Grimes and the midfield otherwise we will do this week after week. And that centre forward is just dreadful. No pace, no creativity, no ability to jump, can’t hold the ball up, can’t test the keeper when one on one, lets the...

What is the point in us hitting corners high into the box. We don’t have anyone who’s a threat.
